It was only after we eat everything that we sat there in quietness. I myself had to say that I was really... happy. This emation that I felt was warm and fuzzy. It was soo long that I really felt happy but I knew that this couldn't last. I had to go out on the streets soon as Parallax. I knew that one cause I didn't go out for a day or two. To be honest days were a mystery to me.
So in the end I was just waiting for an opportunity to get out of this hero household and what better whay to get out then to ask for waiting?
It really did pay me off a lot and I didn't even had to wait that long since it was late anyways. This undergound hero had to go out on patrolling anyways too. He couldn't stay with me all night and I was fairly confident that I could actually escape Mic. That man was a limelight hero and had no whatsoever experience with a child or a vigilante.
Mic: Sho, don't you have to go patrolling?
Yes?
Don't you have to go hobo?
I have to go as well...
So please just leave!
Eraserhead: Yes but I am sure another hero can cover me.
Me: Are there any other underground heroes?
Eraserhead: Yes but they are troublesome.
Oh really?!
Tell me more!
I mean I only heard about you!
The others are well... I heard a bit just bad stuff but the streets are full with rumors about your generosity as well as care and love for people.
Well anyways... you are a great hero and everyone loves you!
Mic: You know, I can keep an eye on this little listener.
You really think you can do that?
Good luck on that one!
Even this old hobo lost to that game!
Eraserhead: *sigh* Zashi, we both know you can't even watch a fish.
Mic: I am upset you think that way Sho.
Wait?!
Does that mean they gave you a fish to watch once?
And it died?
Or did it escape?
How does that even work?
What did you do?
Oh I really want that story....
I could tell that Mic wasn't offended at all, he was just playing a drama queen and I couldn't help it but smile at that. You should have heard him say that? That attitude he had! It was genius and funny too.
Eraserhead: *sigh* Isn't it true tho?
Mic: It totally is but still, SHO! I am offeneded.
Eraserhead: Whatever.
Mic: No, really Sho. I can watch over him. He seems like a nice and very docile kid.
Eraserhead: Problem child, no running of to a park.
Me: Okay.
Mic: Wait what?
Me: I made him run for his money.
Mic: Oh I am sure you did little listener.
Eraserhead: Zashi, he really did. He nearly even lost me.
Mic: WAIT WHAT?!
Eraserhead: Zip it Zashi.
Mic: Sorry.
Eraserhead: I don't trust you to be alone with him.
Mic: How can you have this little faith in me?
Eraserhead: I meant him. I don't trust problem child.
Mic: Oh.
Really now?
I mean it's not as if I would run away...
Well yeah!
That was exactly what I was about to do but still.... HOW COULD YOU?!
I mean you are basically kidnapping me!
Besides I have to get home and I have to get out on patroll too!
I know this district better than anyone else!
It needs me!
I am ready!
As I was trying to look like an innocent angel, I could hear the hero sigh again. He was more than done with me and I knew that much. I mean I did run away from him I think twice? Anyways I did definitelly make him run more than neccessary and he definitelly didn't wanted to do that again. He seemed exhausted and needed some rest. That was a fact.
Mic: I got this. Believe in me.
Yeah what he says!
Eraserhead: Problem chlid, behave!
Me: Mh!
Mic: Kay Sho, I got this so don't worry.
Mic started ushering Eraserhead to a room and left me alone in the hallway. I could only say that that was a bad desicion cause I was fast and I could also walk without making any noises. It wasn't that hard to do this. So instead of going to the door, I went to the first window, opened it and climbed through it.
Now that I am out, I better get home!
Just like that I started running off to a direction where I thought was home. It was a bit far but it was still close enough by that I could run the whole distance. Not only that but I stayed in the shadows for soo long to make sure that the hero wasn't following me at all.
Thankfully he didn't and I managed to get home, just to put on my Parallax costume and get out of my room once again. Of course I made sure that my own door was locked in case my mom decided to burst in. While I was at home, I couldn't hear her at all. That only told me that she was once again out, drinking and the next day will be a hard one if I get back home. The thing was tho, I had to get home and get my things without them, I couldn't go to school.
*sigh*
I will need to face her again...
This is bad...
I hate it!
I really do!
What should I say....
The short warmth that I got was quiet something.
I really enjoyed it.
It was soo nice!
I should have said thank you...
How could I be that rude and say nothing.
I did cook tho... Still that isn't enough.
The next time I see him, I should say thank you.
It didn't take me long to get my costume and and the mask as well as the voice changer to work. After that I put my weapons in their holding places, opened the window and climbed up to the rooftop.
That feeling, being all alone on the rooftop, seeing everything and knowing a lot. It was exactly that what was keeping me going on for soo long. It was this society that I was protecting and tressuring that I didn't wanted to lose. You may take it as an ankor of my life. It was my safe place and heaven. I loved it too much.
Okay!
Let's keep the order again!
Off I go!
