Chapter 61: di Angelo Siblings

When the car opened, Thalia rushed out as one of the first persons. I wasn't able to see her well from inside, but I think I caught a glimpse of her hugging the ground for a brief moment. The others soon exit as well, some were just gaining their color back to their skin. I exited the car with Bianca and Nico.

The main part of the camp can be seen just slightly in the distance as I parked the sun car near the lake. Its appearance has turn once more to a more winter scene. A bit more festive as the holidays approach. I wonder whether the Hecate children made decorations around the Hades cabin. Personally, I never bothered. No matter what I did, it always looked rather gloomy with or without decorations.

A small gasp of surprise leaves Nico as he sees something interesting in the distance. "Is that a lava rock climbing wall?" He asks as he points to it.

"It sure is," I answer with a chuckle. "Why the lava, though?" Bianca asks. "I never really knew the reason, but the Ares children sure like the extra challenge. Be careful when climbing it."

"Come, you'll want to meet Chiron. I am sure you'll hit it off right away!" I say, but before I went away I turn to Zoe who stands with the other Hunters.

"Zoe, before you go, meet me in my cabin after dinner. I want to talk to you in private. It was cold of me how I acted, but I will explain and show you the letter. Alright?"

Zoe seems touched by the looks of it. "I will. Thank you, Lady Aileen. I regret my actions, I truly do," she says. "I know, it's why I am giving you another chance. Do not waste it. Are you able to find the cabins?" I ask.

"I do, tell Chiron we will be in Cabin Eight. Hunters follow me."

"I'll show you the way! It's easy to get lost here," Grover added quickly as he rushed forward. That guy's obsession... There is something disturbing about it. Can't quite put my finger on it. "We know the way," Zoe says with a slightly disgusted at the idea of a man leading them.

"Oh, it's no problem at all!" He says before tripping over his feet, but quickly starts walking again, recovering from his trip. The words were a bit lost, but Grover kept talking. "-as my old daddy goat used to say." Zoe sighs and rolled her eyes. Probably knows how stubborn Grover is and just led him to lead them. They soon walked away from the sun chariot.

"Well, hope you enjoyed the trip, sweethearts!" Apollo calls to the hunters. A few groans, hisses and evil looks were given to Apollo. He just kept smiling and waved them away. Apollo then looks towards our group. "Watch out for those prophecies, Percy Boy. I'll see you soon!" He says.

"What does that mean?" Percy asks, but Apollo does not answer, pops back in the car and speeds off again. "Hmm, interesting..." I mumble out.

"What do you mean 'interesting'?" Percy asks me. "Apollo is the one that gives the prophecies to the Oracle, Percy. Not sure what will happen, though. I guess he will deliver a prophecy? Who knows."

"Great. Well, uhm, I guess, see you later?" Percy says. "Sure, I will go to Chiron with Bianca and Nico. See you later, guys. Oh, and Annabeth still lives. I would have felt it if it weren't the case. So, that is some positivity, I hope."

"It is, thanks for saying it," Percy says. "I have some things to do. See you later!" He soon walks towards his cabin and to whatever he is going to do.

"Chiron? Who's that?" Bianca asks as we start walking. "I don't know him either. My collection has no figurine of him," Nico added.

"He is the Activities Director of the camp. Chiron trains all the campers in all kinds of weapons and survival skills. I also think he gives excellent advice on what to do if you have a problem. So, I urge you to go to him if you need advice on something personal. He's very patient and understanding," I explained. "Oh, and he is a centaur."
