Annabeth Chase
My pen ticks against my desk as I think about the latest development. In particular, the betrayal of Quintus, or rather Daedalus. The mark of Athena made me suspicious of him, but what Nico said... It made sense. Daedalus could have found a way to cheat death. Apparently, he has done it five times already. Quintus means five in Latin. What a blazing way of showing his arrogance. Even if it is an impressive display.
"What's he up to...? Probably helping the Titans in return for his survival," I think aloud.
We need to go into the Labyrinth again soon or the Titans will have too much free space to operate. That is not what we can allow. All these days have been mentally stressful, I could use some relief. Meaning, I really need Aileen in bed. Gods let her be a redhead, I would love that. I turn in my chair to face the door, and I heard someone knocking with urgency. Can't I catch a break for once?
"Take it easy! I am coming," I almost shout in irritation. It's barely 10 am, what is this person's problem? The knocking is so fast it's as if nukes are flying everywhere. Within a minute I open the door.
"What?" I ask irritated. Instead of an answer, the person grabs my shirt and crashes her lips on mine. This person smells great. The smell of a library and a very soft but sweet pomegranate smell. It makes me feel right at home.
"Annabeth, I am back," she says through a deep and passionate kiss. Gods, Aileen, took you long enough. I drag her in and kick the door close.
"Bed. Now," I command her through the kiss. Aileen barely has to be motivated as she rips the clothing from me. It sure made my heart beat faster. "As you wish, my love," she says and picks me up to carry me to bed.
...
My chest rises fast as I try to catch my breath. One thing is for sure... her stamina increased. That is irritating, I used to be the one to make her drained of all energy. Damn it, I feel my pride taking a hit. Although her red hair, and those green eyes... fuck me, I love it. She was gorgeous before, but now she is downright godly gorgeous. Ironically, she is now fully one.
"Aileen... you are amazing. I missed you. It was hard, Aileen. You don't know how much it means to have you next to me," I half sobbed, clinging to her.
"I know, Wise Girl. I truly do. Being in that room was maddening! My dear wife, I will be here for you again," she says soothingly.
"It's over? Nothing... out of wack, or something? It's all good?"
"Yes, dear Annabeth. All are working at peak efficiency. I can go another round to prove it!" She says eagerly as a finger trails her way downwards again. My hands stop it as I let out an exhaustive husky breath.
"No! I am fucking drained. Any more I will not be able to walk. It would be embarrassing if they need me," I say through a shaky laugh. Aileen smiles as her hand trails over my sweaty body. "Is that so bad?"
"Aileen! Please, five is more than enough for now. You did great. Top marks, now let me rest!"
"Fine, better prepare for next time. We have a lot to catch up on," she says softly in my ear. I swallow thickly as I try to remain firm and not give in.
"Yes, I am sure we can find more time later. Anyway, you look good. It suits you, and I love the new look," I say, turning on my side to wrap her in my arms.
"I know... I may have been pleasantly busy down there, but I saw you looking with delight at me. Nothing escapes me now," she says with a smile, tugging at me and wrapping me in her embrace. I giggle slightly as snuggle in her now amble bosom. Ah, so soft.
