Aileen "Pistis" Corvius
Persephone and I went to the side of Demeter. There wasn't much questioning as to who will be leading this fight. Demeter fought the Titans before and probably had a hand in killing or defeating several of them. On her hip, she had a curved bronze sickle, but its shine is not like bronze. Strange, but I am sure it kills with the same effect. Persephone had not an obvious metal weapon, but a beautiful flower. The stem is long and thick with a blooming flower. It is almost like a staff or scepter. Not sure what it does, but if she wields it, it kills.
"Mother, what should we do?" Persephone asks as we start to approach the Titan of Heat. The heat is intense and the brightness is almost blinding. If it was not for my association with Stars it probably would be uncomfortable.
"Kill the thing of course. It is powerful, strong, and fast. But stupid, arrogant, and prideful," Demeter says as she looks at me. "Get that star out, child. It is a wonderful weapon. Use it to distract the thing and Persephone and I will fight in close combat. We should be able to do it."
"Sounds simple enough..." I mutter as I summon the star in my hand. "But how are you certain it will go like you say? And why are you calling the Titan a thing?"
"I don't. We will probably have to improvise. Come ready yourselves." Demeter walked towards the Titan of Light which looked smugly in our direction. Flames cover his body. Demeter didn't answer why he was a thing, but I can see where the inspiration comes from. Hyperion reminds me of a light of a lighthouse strangely enough.
"Ah, Demeter. Brought two young ones, I see. Two useless children playing with flowers and stars. It seems you chose to bore me to death than beat me to death!" Hyperion laughed as the armies started to clash together.
Hades fighting against Kronos, and Koios fighting against Calypso and Hecate. It was an intense battle. Fire was exchanged along with electricity, rock, and ice. Magic flew, monsters roared, and metal clashed against metal. And Hyperion making snide comments. Makes you wonder if he is not faced by facing us three.
"Flowers have thorns," Persephone says irritated. Just like she says, thorns grew on the flowers. They look almost as sharp as any spear points or arrows. The flower she held in her hand resembles a bat with nails protruding them.
"Beware, fire man. A crashing star is known to cause the world to weep. Best be aware of its power," I say raising the star into the dark cloud-covered night sky.
"Enough lies from you. It's time to burn you out of our way," Hyperion says as he increased the size of his flames, the temperature increasing to almost unbearable levels. Demeter seems unfazed while Persephone definitely feels the heat. I am not sure how she could use her power on this type of Titan. As for Demeter, well, summer can be unbearably hot as well.
"Aileen?" Demeter says while pointing to the floating star. Her saying the words caused a cold wind to sweep in. Very cold. It is as if summer has ended and winter came. Even Hyperion frowns as the flames flicker briefly against the sudden coldness.
Hyperion raises his burning sword to sweep at Demeter. She however did not move a centimeter. The winds only increased and brought forth lower temperatures. Persephone in a bit to protect her mother created thick and large bushes of winter flowers. The cold bothered Hyperion but not to the extent that Demeter hoped. She now saw the blade coming towards her as it burned away the flowers. I made sure nothing came of it and made the star crash land on the Titan.
In an arch of pale blue light, the star flew from high in the sky onto the Titan. He flew backward as he tried to hold back the star with both hands, his sword left discarded on the ground. I kept my hand raised and pointing forward to keep the pressure on the Titan. Hyperion grunts from the effort as he held the star at bay. It may not have caused a lot of damage, but even I could tell that catching the star with his hands was at least a strain on him.
