Annabeth Chase ~ some hours after Aileen left

"Hey Annabeth, about our precious human..." Percy starts to say through an Iris message.

Is this mortal that hard to get on board? Maybe we should make an offer that she can't refuse. This is getting ridiculous. Even the Gods are easier to get a hold of, although that may just be me and my friends.

"What is it now, Percy? Is she having a personal problem again?" I ask irritated as I pick up my rings, and put them on my fingers. "What's her deal?"

"Hey take it easy, Annabeth. She agreed, but we're just stuck in New York. Got no money on me. Forgot to take enough with me..." Percy sheepishly says, scratching his head. Typical Percy...

"Are you a Goddess?" Rachel suddenly asks, coming into view. Pfft, I know a much better redhead. "Alright, I'll meet you there. I remember Clarisse telling me about an entrance in New York. Where are you?" I answer, ignoring the girl.

"Hey, I asked you something!" The girl protests. "I am not Rachel, now where are you?" I ask them.

"Uh, Times Square pretty much. Can you teleport to us?" Percy asks us. I sigh and nod as I pick up my dagger and sheet it. The last thing I pick up is my notebook. You never know when you need your notes.

"Yes, just try to find an open spot. Be there in a minute," I say to them. Percy gives me a thumbs-up and waves the image away. Well, let's see if my cute redhead is true to her word.

"Aileen! Can you come? I need your help," I call out in my room.

I glance around the room to see what happens. Nothing is out of place. Still the same book stuffed room. My cluttered desk with a bunch of building designs, articles, and many drawings of Aileen on it. My bed is still not made and clearly shows what has happened. A minute or two passes as my ring glows a green and golden light that fills my room. I blink and a smiling Aileen stands before me.

"You called, dear?"

"Yes, Percy is in New York. Do you feel his dumbness there?" I ask her. Aileen nods as she chuckles, moving to stand next to me. Her arms going around me. There is a daze in her eyes as she seems to search for something. They dart around in space as if she scans large swats of the Earth, I assume at least.

"I do, he's in New York, Times Square. Huh, with a special mortal. She will do, yeah... Fierce too," she says before she looks at me with a loving smile. "Need a lift?"

"Yup, could..." I suddenly stand in the busy New York to the side of Times Square. Pretty close to a hotel. Percy was leaning against a building's wall as he stands with a red-haired girl. "... give me a lift to them," I finish.

"Sure can!" Aileen says with a chuckle. I chuckle as well. We soon walk towards the duo hand in hand. Percy sees us approach and looks wide-eyed at Aileen. Surprised and shocked by her appearance. Rachel seems to look in awe at Aileen too.

'Yes, that's my wife! I bet you're jealous!' I think to myself. Aileen squeezes my hand with a smirk on her knowing face.

"Wow..." Percy whistles.

"S-She is something else..." Rachel says in awe.

"Careful, little Rachel. I am already taken. Something special about you. We'll see, won't we? And Percy, if you don't get your mind out of the gutter, I will tell Zoe," Aileen says with a kind smile. Percy looks a bit paler when Zoe was mentioned.

"G-goddess?" Rachel asks Percy. He nods as he looks me over with wide eyes. "Yes, Aileen Corvius. She has Divine Authority over Trust, Honesty, and Faith," Percy answered the flustered girl.
