          DUMAAN ang mga oras, ngunit pakiramdam ni Aliyah, it was ticking so slow, that she wanted to just escape from the suffocating room full of socialites, invited from different parts of the Philippines.

There were also a few employees that was invited. Kasama na ang kaibigan niyang sina Noreen and Myreen, but mostly, they were there to make sure everything is set accordingly, and the program runs well. Pero masaya sila na nandoon sila to witness the gala, and dressed as one of the guests.

Her eyes never left the man talking on the podium, looming over everyone in the room like a god of Olympus. Oozing with overwhelming authority, power, and dominance. They all are.

Parang mga diyos sa Olympus na bumaba sa lupa, at sila'y mga mortal na alipin ng mga ito, sumasamba sa kanilang presensya.

His intense blue eyes, devoid of emotion, stared through the crowd, but not in attention. His face that seemed it was carved like a granite, hard and not a twitch on his lips, yet the female population that was present seemed too stunned to even realized how cold the man was, standing in front of them. The chiseled jaw became even more defined as he clamped them tightly, while his lips moved in a way that enthralled any woman in the room yet commanding.

May dumaan na waitress at inilagay niya ang kanyang walang lamang baso sa tray nitong silver at kumuha siya ng panibagong champagne.

She made a sip as she waited for Ares to get closer.

Hindi niya inalis ang ngiti niya rito, at pinilit ang sariling magsaya.
