"Kuya!!" nanggigigil kong kinuwelyuhan ito.

"I am sorry, Jaustin. I..I was just too drunk."

Suminghap ako at nagpigil. "Mag-uusap tayo, kuya."

Agad kong hinabol palabas si Aleina at naabutan ko na paalis ang sasakyan nya kaya sinundan ko ito. I tried calling her phone but she's not answering! Dmn it!

I parked my car malapit sa kanya at sinundan sya sa gitna ng Melvin Jones Grandstand.

"Fvck this life! Meron pa ba? May problema Ka pa bang ibibigay?! Bring it on! Just fvking bring it on! Hindi yung paisa-isa! Tngna! Ako, napapagod na sa mga binibigay Mo! Ikaw, kailan Ka mapapagod bigyan ako ng parusa? Ha?! Tell me!"

Nakatingala sya while her arms were wide open. I saw her wiped her tears.. Lumuhod sya at doon ay umiyak na parang bata. It's my first time to see her cry like this because most of the time when she cries, she's calm and quiet.

Lumapit ako sa kanya ngunit hindi nya ako tiningala.

"Jared Pineda.. He was my ultimate crush way back in college, before I met partying. Before I met bars and liquors. Before I met anyone else.. We had a thing but he put the joke on me. Niloko nya ako. Binalak paikutin.. I was so broken that time and Allen was there.. He was always there for me. I totally forgot everything about Jared. Then my relationship with Allen never went cool, we met ups and downs ahead that almost tear us apart.. When I was really broken, I tried flirting with others beacuse I wanted to prove something. I almost ruined Lei's life, I put him on my bare games. Every man I met in the club, I played games with them. And.. and maybe your kuya James was one of them. Yes, I do remember now."

"Yun lang naman.. Yung lang ang gusto kong marinig."

"Aren't you going to ask me what game I was playing with men almost years ago?" I felt pain in her voice. Pero ayoko.. ayokong marinig! Ayokong marinig pa kung ano 'yon. Ok na ako sa paliwanag nya. Ayoko ng madag--

"Sex. Sex, Jaustin. For me, sex was just a pasttime game, then. Do you hear me, Jaustin? Sex! At 'yon ang iniiwasan kong ikwento sayo dahil natatakot ako! Natatakot akong iwan mo ako kapag nalaman mo! Natatakot ako lalo't pina-ibig mo ako ng ganito ulit! Natatakot ako na baka pandirihan mo ako! Naririnig mo ako?"

I was speechless. I couldn't say anything but to just stand in front of her! No. I can't accept it. Hindi ko matanggap.

"Just what I expected.. Nice try, Jaustin."

Tumayo sya at nilagpasan ako. Hindi pa rin ako makagalaw.. Para kasing may kung ano akong nararamdaman.. Galit? Selos? Panghihinayang? Sakit? Ano? Hindi ko alam..

"At least, wala pang nangyayari satin. Makakahinga ka na ng maluwag. You have no responsibility.." may kung anong tumusok sa dibdib ko.

Nilingonko sya at sinundan.. Papasok na sya ng kotse. "Hey.."

Huminto sya at hinitay pa ang susunod kong sasabihin. "I can't say anything.."

"You don't have to say anything, just emotions you're giving me is enough."

Humarurot palayo ang sasakyan nya na sinundan ko. Nagpunta muna ako sa club at dinampot ang mga gamit ko.

"Jaustin. I am sorry."

"Save your sorry kapag hindi namin naayos 'to, James. I am gonna kill you."

Palabas ako ng anthem ng makita kong palabas ng lobby si Aleina.

"Wait! Wait, Aleina. Saan ka pupunta?!" kabado kong tanong.

"I'm going back to Manila. Uuwi muna ako kina Mama. Take care, Jaustin." without looking at me.

"You're not going anywhere! Just..Just.. Fvking wipe your tears, Aleina!" paninigaw ko dahil hindi ko na alam ang gagawin! She's ready to leave me!

She managed to smile but she failed. Ipinasok na nya sa loob ang maleta nya. "Ibaba mo yang gamit mo, Aleina!"

"We need this, Jaustin. Time. Space."

"Fvck it! Hindi pa ba sapat yung tatlong taon sa time at space na yan?!"

Napatingin ako sa daliri nya. Inaalis nya ang engagement ring namin! "What do you think you're doing?!"

"I'm.." hinawakan nya ang kamay ko at doon ipinatong ang singsing. "I'm giving this back to you. You already know my past. I think I don't deserve that. Maybe I never deserve that at all."

"You've got to be kidding me."

"I am leaving you. For good, Jaustin. It was nice being loved by you. It was nice being with someone like you. I loved you more than I loved Allen. God knows, I did.. I am happy you came into my life. But I am sad. Sad that this might end here now. May rason na naman ako para katakutang bumalik dito. Maybe Baguio was made to be my greatest nightmare. Maybe I made the most stupid thing in my life.. I made a game that became my karma."

"But now, you can't leave me. Ikakamatay ko 'yon, Aleina!"

Tinitigan nya ako. Now she smiled. "You can't even look me into my eyes like what you always do for the last 3 years after what you heard from me. You can't marry a dirty woman like me. You deserve the best.."

She turned her back on me. Nakasakay na sya sa sasakyan pero hindi pa nya ito pinapaandar kaya kinatok ko ito.

"Tngna, Aleina! Wag mo namang gawin sakin 'to! Wala akong pakialam sa nangyari noon! Gusto ko yung nangyayari ngayon satin. Aleina, bumaba ka dyan! We need to get married now! Please!" lumong-lumo na ako.

Talong-talo na ako nang pinaandar nya na yung sasakyan.

And the next thing I knew, she's gone. She's already gone.
