"Mahal, tignan mo si baby Aleistine, kaya na nyang maglakad!"

Isang nakakabingi ngunit nakakatuwang balita ang nagpatigil sa pagtulong ni Aleina sa kusina sa kanilang kasambahay. Dali-dali syang tumakbo,

"Oh my! Mahal, alalayan mo! Baka mapaupo bigla yan!" habang papalapit sya.

Nginitian lang sya ng asawa at pinagpatuloy lang nilang pinanood ang kanilang anak hanggang sa napaupo nga ito at nagumpisa ng humikbi kayat lumapit na si Aleina at binuhat ito. Tumabi naman ito sa kanilang ama, tinapik nya ito..

"Sabi sayo, e. Alalayan mo kasi hindi pa nya kaya! Mahal naman, e. Umiiyak tuloy. Tahan na, baby Selena..."

"Mahal, hindi yan matututo kung hindi sya dadaan sa sakit. Walang natuto na hindi dumaan sa iyak, mahal.." he hugged Aleina.

"Mahal naman.. Si Selena na ang pinag-uusapan dito kayat hanggat kaya natin syang turuan ng hindi nasasaktan ay gagawin ko.."

You see, siguro kahit ang parents nyo ni Ulysses noon ay paniguradong gusto rin kayong matuto ng hindi nasasaktan but only fate had a say on that.. She turned her head to glance at her husband.. Kaya mahal na mahal nya ito, e, he just don't things the way they are. She smiled at him and let their daughter tried walking alone.

Sure, may tries until she let herself walk alone. Until she can managed walking alone. Too many process on that but it was all worth it, too many tears and hurt and now it's all worth it.. Because of that process she learned to walk.

"See, mahal? Ang galing na nyang maglakad.." he hugged her from behind as they watched their daughter.

They laughed. "Mahal, gusto mo bang pumunta sa office? Just to check our new designs of houses to built?"

"I already went there.. Everything's seems to be fine naman, mahal."

"I already filed my resignation to Le Avenue.."

"I thought you're going back to Hawaii to settle--"

"I don't want you to be tired of thinking, I don't want to leave my family just for that matter,"

"Mahal, ayokong ibyahe na natin ni Selena ng ganung kalayo.."

He looked away. "I tried calling her to apologize but its always her secretary would pick up calls.."

The truth is, Karylle tried calling him yesterday and it was Aleina whom she talked to..

"Hello." a trembling voice greeted her from the other line.

"What's up, Karylle? Why did you call my husband?" there's no sound of bitterness in her voice but Karylle took that the other way.

"Ooh.. Your husband? You really know how to use money over love wisely, huh?"

Aleina laughed hard. "Oh? Money over love? Yes, I really know how and when to use it, Karylle, but sorry to disappoint you that not even a single peso I used to bribe my husband just to marry me."

"Really? Then why is he still on your side if it wasn't for the money, you btch!"

"Money over love you say? Then why didn't he stayed for you if he loves you? He was just tempted, Karylle, so please stop digging my husband! Let go of my husband because in the first place he's never been yours! What a shame!" then she hung up the call.

"And mahal, she approved my resignation letter. Now, I only have to think of my family and our business. I have so much time to be with you,"
