You ended up going with your new Iron Man t-shirt and a pair of black jeans that fit snugly on your hips. You did some light makeup, and stood back feeling like you looked cute for today. You wanted to look better than you had been, but knew it would be a long road. You felt at ease as you went to make your bed, and grab Aurora before heading downstairs.
When you got to the dining room, Bucky and Sam were already waiting with a space between them, and Alpine was at the food dishes. You set Aurora down beside Alpine and took the seat between Sam and Bucky. Bucky quickly leaned over and gave you a kiss on the cheek.
"You look cute this morning" Nat cooed to you.
"I was trying" you flushed a little bit. "I know today's going to be a big day"
"Are you ready to talk to the psychiatrist?" Bucky asked worriedly.
"I'll be fine," you reassured him, putting your hand on his lap. He quickly took your hand, and brought it up to his lips and kissed your knuckles. You couldn't imagine feeling more full of love for him than you did in that moment. You held your breath for a moment, realizing that you did indeed love him. You fell in love with Bucky Barnes. You knew it was likely a long time ago, but just the knowledge of it filled you to the brim. He gave you an adoring smile, and you wondered if he felt the same way. You felt a ripple of anxiety flow through you and the lights above you flickered. Bucky looked up a little confused and all eyes fell on you. "Just the thought of the appointment" you lied. Nat seemed to be studying you, while Loki chuckled softly. He knew different, and didn't want to out you in front of everyone.
"I had fun at girls night" Wanda changed the subject, and you felt so grateful to her for doing it. She gave you a small smile, and nodded in your direction.
"Me too, it was nice for a change" you gave a grateful smile.
"I agree, I did enjoy having someone play with my hair," Loki added in his two cents as food went around the table.
"Bucky, are you sleeping with our Cuddle bug tonight?" Sam asked after a few moments of silence.
"If that's okay with you, I barely slept last night" Bucky responded quickly, seeming grateful that Sam was bringing it up.
"She sleeps better with you" Sam gave a small smile. Bucky's face broke out into a smile and he reached under the table and took your hand giving it a quick squeeze. He knew this was Sam's blessing, and was grateful for it. He could barely sleep last night, he just wanted you in his arms. He needed to feel your body close to his, and to be enveloped in your body's warmth to feel more at ease. You calmed his nerves, and he admittedly didn't have any nightmares when he was around you more. The nightmares from when he was the winter soldier had come back when you were taken, and since you had been back they had dissipated. He knew that had something to do with Loki's magic, but he liked to think that it had more to do with you and your presence. He had spent so long just liking you and trying to find a way into your life, slowly falling in love with you. He knew he loved you since before he had asked you to be his girl. You were all he wanted. He didn't think about just the next mission anymore. He was back to being that young soldier that dreamed of white pickett fences again. Having a family, and a home at the end of the day. He could see that future with you, and it's all he thought about now. Hydra might have stolen you from his watchful eyes for a few weeks, but he was determined he was going to help you heal. He knew he wouldn't get you back exactly as you were, but he was going to have a new version of you. He had some big plans for you over the next few weeks. He also hoped he would be able to show you how deep his love was eventually. Tonight, he knew it wouldn't be the night. But he hoped silently for soon. Loki cleared his throat, reminding Bucky that Loki and Wanda could both read his thoughts. Bucky took your hand and kissed the back of it again, before he resumed eating.

Bucky didn't like the fact that you were separated from him after breakfast. You had to go to your appointment, and he was ordered to go work out in the gym for the day. He had to do that yesterday, and it was Hell. He was already wearing his grey sweatpants and white t-shirt. He had noticed you were wearing the Iron man t-shirt at breakfast, and had wanted to give you the t-shirt he had bought for you with his symbol on it, and had signed it as well. He liked that Tony had chosen to make his emblem an outline of his vibranium fist in dark blue. He appreciated that he didn't go with the red star the way Fury had wanted. Bucky had been through enough, he didn't want a constant reminder of his time as the winter soldier. He stood at the punching bag and punched it rhythmically, while Steve held the bag so it didn't go swinging and falling off of the chains like it normally did for either Bucky or Steve. Sam was on the treadmill watching with rapt attention.
"You have something on your mind, Buck?" Steve asked.
"I wanted to give Y/N my t-shirt to wear, but everyone keeps beating me to it" Bucky sighed heavily.
"The one with your logo on it?" Steve asked quickly.
"Yeah" Bucky nodded and Steve winced a little bit. Bucky gave him a curious look and Steve seemed to be holding back. "Just say it"
"We all got her one for each of us," Steve admitted.
"I had a feeling," Bucky sighed again. "To be honest, I keep thinking of her in just one of my own t-shirts and nothing else" he added with flushed cheeks.
"That will happen soon enough, pal" Steve blushed a little hearing Bucky say it so frankly.
