The boys made it home

When you took your bath you used Japanese Cherry Blossom bubble bath again and read from your book trying to relax a bit. You tied your hair up high on your head so you wouldn't get any soap in your hair. You lit a few candles and drank some of your tea. You played music softly while Alpine and Aurora curled up on the bathroom mat. You hummed a bit with the music and just tried to put the image of seeing the team in danger out of your head.
"Kitten" Loki was knocking on your bathroom door, and you had just started to get out because the water was getting cold.
"I'm alive" you rolled your eyes.
"That's always pleasant to hear, however I thought you would like to know the team is back and they are just eating their dinner. You should be expecting company in the next hour" Loki spoke through the door politely.
"Thank you, Loki" you smiled happily and wrapped yourself in a towel while blowing out the candles.
"Did you need assistance finding bedtime attire?" he asked curiously.
"I just put on a t-shirt and shorts usually" you shrugged and made sure the towel was secure before opening the bathroom door so he could see for himself you were fine.
"Even with the Sargent visiting?" he gave an impish smile. You flushed a bright red, not having thought of wearing anything else. "You are courting, aren't you?"
"Trying to" you went back to release the water from the tub, trying to hide your flushed cheeks.
"May I lend a hand?" he asked curiously, raising his eyebrows.
"Umm, sure" you decided, you were trying to be friends with everyone, and Loki seemed to be invested in making sure to maintain this friendship by the way he was acting. He walked through the bathroom and went into your bedroom headed straight for the closet. He pulled down one of your nightgowns you only wore when it was really hot out since it didn't cover much. It was a pink satin, and very low cut. You blushed seeing him hold it out to you.
"May I?" he asked, taking a step towards you.
"What is it?" you asked and he flicked his fingers and you felt your hair falling down your back and looked half dry and wavy. You also felt the distinct feeling of lipgloss on your lips.
"That will do very well" he took a step back and turned around. "You should change, the Sargent seemed excited to see you" he walked out and closed the bedroom door. You went and grabbed a pair of pink lace panties and hurriedly dried off before putting on the nightgown. It only went halfway to your knees making you feel a bit shy. You opened the bedroom door and saw Loki was sitting comfortably on your couch with Alpine and Aurora laying across his lap. You looked briefly in the mirror and saw you were wearing light makeup.
"Much better" Loki gave an approving nod. "We should take some time to go shopping tomorrow, and don't give me the excuse you are saving up when I know very well you already paid for the extension on your home and most of the furniture, you are just waiting on the plans you prefer"
"I have a date tomorrow" you gave a shy smile.
"I'll have you home in plenty of time. I did enjoy today, and I would like to see you update your wardrobe a bit. Seeing you run around in clothes that look more like rags half the time is distasteful. You are a lady, and I'm going to help you present it" Loki leaned forward as if interested. You bristled slightly, but tried to hide it. "Come on Kitten, it would be fun"
"Well, Tony did give me the time off I suppose. But you need to stay out of my head" you reminded him.
"Very well, we are leaving after breakfast. Shall I stay and let you know what the Sargent really thinks of our little makeover?" Loki chuckled mischievously.
"That seems so wrong" you shook your head. You heard a knock at your door and walked over to open it and saw Bucky standing there in his pajamas, and his hair still soaked from his shower. You didn't even think about it, he stood there shocked for a moment and got a goofy grin on his face and you stepped forward to wrap your arms around him without a second thought.
"Wow" Bucky whispered, and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you in a tight hug.
"I'm looking forward to shopping with you in the morning, Kitten" Loki chuckled and got up squeezing past both of you in the hallway and making his way to his suite.
"I was so worried about you" you muffled into Bucky's chest.
"You shouldn't have risked the camera's" he spoke huskily into the top of your head. "You might have made yourself a target"
"I don't care, I was scared" you admitted softly. "I heard gunshots," you continued.
