The three Godfathers

When Bucky went to take his shower, you resumed going through your phone for online shopping, waiting for Sam and Steve to arrive. Bucky took a longer shower and when he came out, he was wearing dark blue pajama bottoms and a white t-shirt. He quickly went to the small kitchenette and grabbed three bottles of water and returned to the living room with them and handed one to you and Loki each before he sat down on the couch beside you and pulled on your body until you were on his lap. You giggled and pivoted your body until you were more comfortable, and slyly hid your phone from his wandering gaze.
"What are you looking at, doll?" he asked you.
"Stocking stuffers" you admitted honestly.
"I'll stuff your stocking" he chuckled and kissed you loudly on the cheek. You turned beat red, and shook your head. Loki chuckled in response and gave a smile.
"You clearly have" Loki responded easily.
"Any cravings yet?" Bucky asked you excitedly.
"Strawberries and nutella" you said automatically. "I'm so excited for the farmer's market. I'm switching up my order" you said quickly.
"I'll warn dear Jack" Loki said as he typed into his phone.
"I just need it so bad," you said, licking your lips. "Also the smell of cooking mushrooms makes me want to be sick. Just thinking about..." you gagged a little.
"Oh, and you do like them on your pierogies" Loki seemed surprised.
"I know, right?!" you said, a little more animated. "It's the oddest thing..." you trailed off seeing something on the screen you absolutely had to get. It was a pair of stockings, his and hers mini ones for Alpine and Aurora. You saw you could get larger ones for you and Bucky that were more festive, and added both pairs to the cart. You went through and also bought a Christmas tree to put up in the suite, a skirt for the bottom, cute decorations which were of course all Avenger themed to match your t-shirts. You purchased a few other items, and paid for them before you finally put your phone down.
"Are you having fun?" Bucky asked beside your ear and you yelped, feeling like you got caught.
"Yes," you said breathlessly.
"What did my little dove order?" he asked with a chuckle.
"You'll see! It's going to be here in a week" you said, doing a little dance on his lap.
"I can't wait to decorate," he said and kissed the side of your neck. You looked at him in surprise and he wiggled his eyebrows at you. "You can't hide everything from me," he added with a grin and a twinkle in his eye.
"What are you thinking about?" you asked him in a barely concealed whisper.

"Nothing much just how life is taking us. I mean we have amazing friends and soon our own family. About how our baby will be able to enjoy things that I never got to enjoy and I'll ensure that they are spoiled rotten and never want for anything," he spoke with a proud expression on his face at the thought of yours and his family together.

"They'll always have us, Buck. Both the team and our future kids," you told him in a teasing tone and sent a wink in his direction.

"So, more kids are in our future together then. Good to know" he grinned. "Since Loki knows, can we please tell Steve tonight?" he asked hopefully.
"We will tell Sam and Steve at the same time" you nodded.
"Tonight?" he asked excitedly.
"Tonight" you confirmed and he gave your cheek a big sloppy kiss, eliciting a giggle from you.
"How would you like your waffle this weekend, darling Jack is asking" Loki asked.
"Covered in nutella, piled high with strawberries, then whipped cream and a cherry on top" you licked your lips. "That's all I've been thinking about," you said a little shyly. Loki typed into his phone and waited a moment before nodding.
"He said to consider it done" Loki gave a small smile.
"Tell him to make it two, please" Bucky pulled you in a little more. Loki nodded and continued to type in his phone. You took a sip of your cold tea and saw that you had finished it and pouted.
"One moment" Loki came over and took the cup from you. He went straight to the kitchenette and boiled the water and made you another cup. He put his hand over the cup and the green light emitted from it before he brought it back to you. You said a soft thank you, and he nodded before taking a seat again.

It wasn't long before Steve and Sam both came in the door carrying their own mugs of coffee or hot chocolate with them.
"Hey sexy legs" Sam quipped as he came in.
"Hey Sammy, welcome back" you smiled. "Welcome back Stevie' you added quickly.
"Are we late to the party?" Sam asked, noting that Loki was comfortable in the room.
"Just on time" Bucky answered him. Sam took a seat beside Bucky, while Steve took the loveseat.
"You're a little pale Cuddlebug" Sam frowned. "DId you catch something?"
Loki chuckled and Bucky just looked proud.
"Maybe a little something" you said cryptically.
"Girl, you are supposed to be staying inside and away from germs" Sam huffed.
"I caught it from Bucky" you giggled.
"What on earth could you catch from a super soldier?" Sam asked, rolling his eyes.
"Is the door closed?" you asked looking over.
"I'll get it" Steve got up and went and closed the door. On his way back to his seat he grabbed Alpine from the back of the couch and started petting him as he sat down.
"Can I say it?" Bucky asked excitedly.
"Yes" you nodded.
"Say what?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, what's going on?" Steve asked a little worriedly.
"We are expecting!" Bucky said with a huge grin on his face.
"Expecting what?" Sam asked, not cluing in.
"Twins" Bucky blurted out.
"Wait, what?!" Steve asked in surprise. Sam pulled you off of Bucky's lap and hugged you close. Steve got up and hugged his best friend, clapping him heartily on the back. Steve hugged you from behind and you couldn't help but giggle.
"How far are you, cuddle bug?" Sam asked, giving you a kiss on the forehead.
"Seven weeks," you said softly. "Almost eight now" you added.
"Is this why that jerk was on cloud nine all week? His head was barely on the missions" Steve chuckled.
"Yeah, that's why" Bucky easily admitted.
"Wait, does Tony know?" Steve asked, looking at Loki who shook his head.
"He thinks she has the flu," Loki confirmed.
"Who else knows?" Sam asked you, looking a little worried.
"Doctor Cho, and the people in this room" you climbed back onto Bucky's lap and he wrapped his arms around you again.
"The team should know. Hydra is going to target those babies" Sam said worriedly.
"We are too aware of that," you said softly.
"No one is touching those children as long as I have a breath left in me" Loki said, it was obvious that he took his vow to heart.
"No one is touching our kids," Bucky agreed.
"We will tell the team tomorrow" you decided. "I mean, Loki brought it up that they should know. I'm just worried we will become some kind of science experiment" you said worriedly.
"No one is touching you" Steve said, his face going dark as Bucky's face looked panicked. "I"ll make sure of it" he added.
"Yeah, that's our future god babies" Sam smirked.
"That's true," you giggled.
"Loki, Steve, and Sam. The godfather trio" Bucky grinned.
"Do we know if they are girls or boys yet?" Sam asked.
"Not for a little bit" you shook your head.
"What about cravings?" Steve asked.
"Already taken care of, but the poor thing has to wait until Sunday" Loki said a little sadly.
"Actually, can you ask Jack if he can make that order tomorrow morning? I'll run out and pick it up" Bucky asked him.
"Of course," Loki nodded. "I'll join you as extra protection of course"
"I'll watch your girl tomorrow morning" Sam and Steve said at the same time.
"Thank you," Bucky said with a relieved sigh.
"What are you craving?" Sam asked you.
"Nutella and strawberries" you flushed.
"I know there's some Nutella in the kitchen, I'll be right back with that and a spoon" he got up quickly and left the room. You nuzzled into Bucky after doing a small dance.
"How is this going to work?" Steve asked worriedly.
"It's going to work the same way it would with any normal couple" Bucky gave a contented sigh as he pulled you in a little closer to his chest. You gave him a kiss on the side of his neck and he gave a slight shiver. You instantly knew there was a chance that there would be no sleep tonight, even though he looked exhausted.
"I'm so happy for you, jerk. You've wanted this since we were kids" Steve smiled. "You need a bigger suite now" he looked around the room.
"We will make it work," Bucky shrugged. "Maybe Tony will let me do some renovations," he added thoughtfully.
"He will more likely hire a construction crew, and do it himself" Loki pointed out.
"I don't know if Tony would go that far," you shook your head.
"You honestly undersell yourself. He would renovate this entire compound if it meant keeping you happy and safe" Loki shook his head.
