Arthur
Arthur stood frozen in shock as the stranger removed his disguise to reveal the face of his brother!First, he rescues a supposed fae only to find out it was really his best friends's familiar, then he runs into not only his horse, but his younger brother too! Could this day get anymore weirder!
Even though Phillip was only 15, he looked like Arthur, tall, muscular, and, almost, handsome. However, his hair was more bushier and he had their father's brown eyes while Arthur inherited their mother's blue ones.
Arthur hadn't seen him since nearly two years ago, when he and his friends went on the faithful day they faced the dragon. Well, they nearly ran into each other at Merlin's wedding, when his family went to the guest room to give their wishes to the groom. Not wanting to be recognized by them, he hid under the bed while they were conversing.
Now what in the world was he even doing here in the first place? He should be back safe at home, not traversing around forests with who knew what's crawling around. Sure, yes he wasn't child anymore, but he was still 15, too young to be traveling by himself.
Arthur was drawn from his thoughts as Philip said, "Well, now you know the truth. But can you please keep this a secret from anyone else. If anyone found out about my whereabouts word get to my parents, who will drag me home back home and keep me locked up until I'm 80! So again please."
"Oh no-" Arthur started to say just as Red said, "Of course we'll won't tell anyone your highness."
"What?" Arthur, Phillip and Reggie asked at the same time, staring at her in disbelief.
"Yes," she said, giving a serious look to Arthur and Reggie before turning to look at Phillip. "But only if you tell us the reason why you want to get into Avalon in the first place."
"Why would I do that?" Asked Phillip. "This isn't something I can tell anyone about. Especially people I just met."
"Fine then," said Red with a shrug. "Then I guess I'll just head back to town and tell everyone that I found the second prince in the forest going on hunt for fae."
"Yeah right," he said. "No villager is going to believe a girl and green dwarf with no proof."
"Ok maybe not," said Red, unconcerned. "But the King and Queen probably will. Since I'm guessing their the ones who came up with that lie because they didn't want anyone knowing that both their sons are missing. So they must be desperate any news of your whereabouts and have you brought home. Especially since their eldest is still missing and all."
"You wouldn't," Phillip said, looking nervous nervous.
"Oh trust me I would," she said with a sinister smirk.
"You are one malicious girl, you know," he said with a sigh. "But fine you win. I'll tell you."
Arthur stared in amazement as Phillip said that. His one younger brother who had always been stubborn and aloof, even to him, had been brought down by this one girl. So far only their mother had been able to do that. She was impressive at manipulating others, he had to give her that. After all, she was able to convince him to help her."
"I'll take that as a compliment," she said. "Now can you please tell us why you want to go to the Realm of the Fairies?"
"Ok if you must know," said Phillip. "I am hoping to meet with the Fairy Queen and ask her something very important."
"Why?" Asked Arthur dubious. "Are you planing on asking for her hand? I hat to break it to you buddy but she is too old for you and already married."
"No," said Phillip, annoyed. "I want to ask her where to find someone very close to me."
