5th July 1894

A few days had passed since the robbery at the Grand Canyon camp and everyone was in good spirits. Both Robert and Karen became the talk of the camp as it was their train robbery that had brought in the most profit from every other job in this year combined. Though Robert had tried to keep his distance from the celebration they had on the night after the robbery, he was drawn in on Dutch's insistence. Things just seemed a lot better as almost everyone in camp had finally accepted Robert into the gang. Robert and Arthur though, they kept their distance and only made simple grunts with one another.

John and Robert had indeed become friends again as they talked a lot more with each other and joined together on their own scores whether it was bounty hunting or looting a house. Now it seemed like John had what he wanted all those years ago had truly come to fruition. Robert had felt the same it was as if he was talking to one of the Wolves again. Their recent crusade was when the pair had taken on a bounty job revolving the Copperheads gang and they had just returned to camp with a bunch of cash from the hunt and headed over to the donations box.

"So me and Abigail are kind of taking over the shopping trips now." John said as he leant against the barrel.

"Easy opportunity I say." Robert beamed as he wrote down how much he was donating.

John raised his brow in confusion. "What are you going on about Robert?"

"I mean, you and Abigail spending more and more time together, to get dirty damp and deep with her."

"Shut up! Not you too, Arthur's been calling me a lover boy over all this."

"Well, with him like that. He's probably jealous of you." Robert said with a slight chuckle.

John just sighed before looking out to see Mac trying to woo Abigail for her "services" only for her to push him away. "Yeah, well... Abigail's getting tired of everyone else treating her like she's some whore when she's more than that, even I am tired of it."

Robert agreed as he put the pencil down. "I don't treat her that way at all, she's a nice woman to be around and she's perfect for you John."

"Thanks, though she could be perfect for anyone....Even you." He drawled to last part out with a bit of grimace. Robert knew this was around the times she had slept with him and with John and Abigail getting into a proper relationship, he knew of the boundaries he was gonna set with her past as a prostitute.

"John she is just a friend and nothing more. I admit it was fun, but it's not gonna happen again." Robert replied sombrely.

John just sighed as he lit a cigarette and spoke back with a serious tone. "I'll take your word for it, I'll be by the fire."

He knew what John was on about, but it was the truth. Abigail was a beautiful and delightful woman to be around, though her passive personality and illiteracy was too much for him. Not just that, he felt he left his guard down because of her "gift" and that was how he got kidnapped by the O'Driscolls in the first place. He hadn't slept with her for a while as he just felt guilty for doing it. He felt that he was keeping her a prostitute by paying for her services, when he knew she could do better and it was like he was cheating on his own woman, even though they broke up.

Robert was just about to walk over towards the campfire when a voice called. "Hello Mister Reznov!"

"Hello Dutch, you doing alright today?" Robert greeted as he walked to the side of Dutch's tent, where he was sat on a chair reading a book, which seemed to have been written by the Philosopher author Evelyn Miller.

"More than ever, good to see that you and John have put things aside at last." Dutch praised.

"Yeah, well things just worked out I suppose." Robert replied looking at John who was speaking to Abigail and Mary-Beth by the campfire.
