Fairy Tail Fund Run (PT 13)

Erza ran towards the cave at the end of the colorful flower field.

"You smell good, Er-chan," Jellal murmured, gently touching her scarlet hair.

"It's probably the flowers," Erza said.

The flowers seem to have lost their powers..how convenient..

"Anyway, you have to stay exactly 5 meters away from me, remember?" Erza said, picking up her pace.

"But we're handcuffed!" Jellal protested, tugging on the newly bought handcuffs.

"These new and improved handcuffs allow us to be 5 meters apart," she retorted.

"But I love you," he whined.

Erza blushed, "I love you too, but I need you to listen to me."

Eventually, Erza and Jellal entered the dark cave and stopped immediately.

"If you find the clay tablet, I'll give you a reward," Erza bribed.

Jellal perked up,"What's the reward?"

"I'll tell you later," she added hastily.

He immediately ran forward, dragging her with him, and began to look behind the jagged rocks.

"How do you know it's going to be here?" Jellal inquired.

"I know Mira very well," Erza said proudly.

Jellal nodded satisfied with her answer.

"I found it!" he crowed, lifting up the tablet with his left hand.

She patted his back, "Good job."

He pouted, "I'm not a dog!"

Erza laughed, "I know, you're a cat!"

He gave her an amused look, "So, what's my prize?"

"I'll tell you when we go back," she said, leading him out of the gloomy cave.

Once you go back to normal..

"I'm hungry!" Jellal announced.

Erza face-palmed (again), "Of course! We forgot to pick up our lunch from the cafe!

"Can we get it?" Jellal asked eagerly.

"It's probably too late," she muttered.

"Hmm," Jellal pondered. "I know! We can go on a date!"

"R-right now?" Erza asked. "As in right this second?"

"Yeah! Why not?" he asked. "It can be my reward!"

"Lets return this tablet first, then we can go on a date, okay?"

And also once I force Mira Jane to make you go back to normal..

"Perfect!" he said happily. Abruptly, he clutched his head in pain, "Ow.."

"Are you okay?" Erza asked, bewildered at his sudden change of emotion. "Do you have a headache?"

He collapsed on to the ground, writhing in pain.

"Jellal!" Erza yelled, causing pedestrians to turn around and stare. "What's wrong?"

It must be an after affect of that potion! I'm definitely going to kill Mira!

"Snap out of it!" Erza shouted.

"Ughh," he groaned, getting up from the ground. "E-Erza?"

She sighed, "Thank god, I thought you would never go back to normal!"

"Normal?" Jellal asked.

"I'll tell you later," Erza said. "Can you use Meteor and get us back to the stadium?"
