Name: Hisako

Meaning: enduring child

Life Story: 

Your mother was a beautiful and graceful fox demon, and your father, a human living in a small village. They fell in love, and had you, and eventually your younger sister, Mika. As a child your sister and you were often bullied by human children for being half-demons. Whenever your sister was hurt by them, you would protect her. One day, a young cat demon named Era wandered into your village, gravely wounded. Your mother— who lived outside of the village— took pity on her, and your family took her in, making sure that no one found out that she was a demon.

About a month later Mika, Era, and you were wandering in the woods, when you came upon a man in a baboon suit. He charged at you for no reason, and so you and your sister decided to fight him— it wouldn't be very hard.

Big mistake.

The man turned out to be a demon, and ended up killing your sister, and leaving you close to death. You were barely conscious, but noticed him talking to himself.

"I'm not sure about the eldest and the orphan," said the man, "but the younger one is dead. Now she can burn in hell with her parents.

"The day will come when the name 'Naraku' is one to be feared.

"Too bad you won't be there to see it," he said, looking down at your body.

Naraku. This was the name you would learn to hate, the name of the man who had killed your sister and parents. Then... everything went black.

You and Era later awoke in the middle of the woods. You looked to the side of you, but your sister was nowhere in sight. It was day, and you noticed that weeds and other plants were growing on you. You must have been unconscious for quite some time.

You and Era decided that first thing was first, you needed to find out everything you could about Naraku. You both got up, and noticed that your wounds were gone, it would have taken a long time for wounds that bad to have healed on their own. That means you had been passed out longer than you originally thought, but how long?

Era and you ran out of the woods, onto a dirt road. In the distance you saw a pair of ears, ears that belonged to an dog demon—no, a half-demon.

'Inuyasha? No, he was sealed to a tree a couple of months ago... I need to make sure.'

In the past you had met someone named Inuyasha, and became somewhat of a friend of his after finding out he was a half-demon as well. Sadly, you had found out about him and Kikyō, and about their deaths.

You ran after the pair of ears, and when you were close enough to see who it was, you were stunned to see Inuyasha, the man you thought had been long gone. Then, you took notice of one of the people he was traveling with.

'Oh crap! It's Kikyō! What the— she died when he got sealed! This is so confusing! What the heck is going on?!'

You then noticed Inuyasha had a strange look on his face, and apparently, so did Kikyō.

"What's wrong, Inuyasha?" she asked.

"I smell someone, someone familiar."

'What the heck is he talking about, I don't smell any—oh, crap; he's talking about me.'

You were about to make a run for it, but it was too late, Inuyasha turned around, and his golden eyes widened when he saw you.

"Hisako? I figured you'd be dead. What are you doing alive?"
