"Thank you for doing the talk Fee! I know you're busy with work and wedding preparations" Noey said
"Don't remind me" Freen muttered under her breath
"I know it's a lot to ask late on a Friday evening but the students really loved hearing about MonSam Electric and some of the possibilities and opportunities to use physics to innovate" Noey continued

"It's okay, I had to come out to this neck of the woods anyway" Freen said
"Oh really?" Noey replied
"Yeah, Heng just got back I need to pick him up from the airport at 11pm" Freen confirmed
"Oh he's back?" Noey asked
"For a few days" Freen said averting her eyes

Freen did enjoy it when Heng was around. All her problems seemed lighter when he was around. He had a talent for disarming and relaxing people and situations. Noey walked Freen into the corridor where she stood looking around while Noey locked up.

Noey turned around and caught Freen stealing a glance in the direction of Becky's office. "Ok, let's go!" Noey said
"Ah I think I'll need to go and visit Becky tomorrow after her accident" Noey continued as they walk to the parking area.

Freen looked up and hesitated. They continued to walk towards her car the eventually she looked over at Noey and said "accident?"
"Yeah she got mildly electrocuted a few days ago so she's been at home resting up" Noey explained
"Ah, I hope she gets well soon" Freen said
"Yeah" Noey replied with a smile

Freen got into her car. She drove for about 5mins then pulled into a drive. Freen sat in her car for a while in deep thought until gathering her courage she exited the car.

Freen began to bite her nails as she rang the door bell. She could hear someone jogging down the stairs then suddenly the door swung open. It was Becky's mum.

"Oh Miss Chankimha, what are you doing here?" She said with a smile.
Freen smiled back and said "I just came to check on Becky"

Freen sat in the living room while Becky's Ma went up to fetch her. She waited for what seemed like a long time staring into space while fielding off unwelcomed stares from Richie.

Becky creeped around the corner to steal a glance at Freen. She couldn't think of why Freen would have come to visit her. After a while Becky plucked up the courage to enter the room. Freen stood up with a concerned look on her face as she turned around to look at Becky.

Becky and Freen stared at each other for a moment and Richie noticed. Richie gently creeped by them to give them some privacy.

"Hey Freen!" Becky smiled
"Hi-" Freen replied
"What are you doing here?" Becky said nonchalantly as she made her way over to the sofa opposite Freen

"Are you okay?" Freen asked
Becky looked at Freen confused as Freen looked Becky up and down. "Are you feeling ok?" She continued with a noticeably worried look on her face. Freen took a few steps towards Becky till she was just an arms length away.

"Oh you mean because of the accident?" Becky asked
Becky withdrew. "It was just a mild shock. I'm fine" she said, "how do you know where I live?" Becky asked
"I asked Noey" Freen said
"Why?" Becky asked

Freen walked back to her seat. "I still haven't collected on my auction date, are you up for it? Healthy I mean?" Freen said
"Oh yeah! I should treat you though to thank you for all your help with Richie's situation" Becky said
"No don't be silly, I can't make you pay for a date you barely agreed to" Freen replied with a smile.

They both laughed. Freen and Becky felt that comfortability they had originally created with each other the morning after the night they met.

They sat comfortably with each other until Becky broke the silence.
"Hey Freen?" Becky said
"Yeah?" Freen replied
"We're friends now right?" Becky asked

Freen looked up at Becky with the truth bubbling up inside her. She wanted to tell Becky the truth about how she had been longing for her since the day they met and had only continued to fall for her more and more as they continued to bump into each other.

Freen's phone began to ring and vibrate interrupting their conversation.
