Marlin stared at Freen and smiled
"You're exactly the same as before." Marlin said
"Yes, I've always cared about her." Freen said
"She saw a lot over the 24 hours she was in the past. She may have seen a lot that affected her deeply. You should ask her about it. It would do her good to talk about it." Marlin said

"WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!" Richie called out from downstairs
Freen immediately turned around.
"Thank you Marlin." Freen said
"Least I could do." Marlin said

Freen rushed downstairs into the living room where everyone was huddled around Richie.
"What is it?" Freen asked
"Trouble." Non said
"Khun Sa has committed an act of war against another country." Billy said
"I just heard it on the tapped wires." Richie said
"What do you mean?" Freen said
"He killed a foreign envoy." Becky said

Freen's expression dropped.
"What country?" Marlin asked appearing out of nowhere.
"Britain." Billy said

They all stood in shock.
"What does this mean for Thailand?" Becky asked
"In layman's terms, unless we can evidence this was not committed by our true governing power in Thailand we have just declared war on Britain." Non said
"Yeah and we're in no position to either fight a war or prove an illegitimate government is in power." Billy continued

Becky got up and went back to her lab work to everyone's surprise.
"Care to share with the rest of the class?" Billy asked
"I need to finish this sooner rather than later" Becky whispered
"What exactly is your plan again? To send the genies back to their dimension? A place we don't even know for sure still exists? I think that's a dead end. We need to do something now!" Billy insisted
"Billy relax." Non said

Billy looked around.
"Relax? Am I the only one still living in reality? Non hardly speaks since the passing of his brother. Richie is trying his best but I can tell he's distracted thinking about family. Becky is working on an unprofitable outcome. Freen is worried about and doting on Becky. That oversized eggplant in pyjamas (Marlin) offers no insight and Heng I love you but smiling won't save us. Am I the only one still here?" Billy exclaimed
Billy stormed off and left the house slamming the door behind him.

Everyone looked around. They knew he was right. They had been distracted, passive and defeated on their efforts and resolve. No one know what to do. Everyone was just grasping at straws.

"I'll talk to him" Heng said
"No, I'll go" Becky said as she got up slowly.
Becky exited the condo closing the door behind her.

The room was silent and everyone was solemn, even Heng.
"Uh P'Freen, can I speak to you." Richie asked
"Uh yes" Freen replied

Richie walk towards Freen and they met in the kitchen away from everyone else.
"What is it?" Freen asked
"Well... it's none of my business and I'm not sure if I should be saying this but I know my sister well. She buries her head in a mission anytime she's in an unbearable amount of pain. Like when our Da died. Remember?" Richie said

Freen was a little shocked to hear that from Richie. Deep down inside she knew it but she had been too afraid to address it.
"Yeah." Freen replied
"She's in a lot of pain right now, I can tell. And I think it has something to do with you. She keeps saying she's going to save everyone but anytime she zones out or her eyes linger she always stares at you. I think you're the one who may be causing her pain." Richie said
"Me? Really?" Freen said
"Like I said, I know my sister. Very well. But I don't know any of the details so I think you should talk to her about it. Ask her directly, in a way she can't dismiss." Richie said

Freen stepped back almost as though she lost balance for a second. She was processing what Richie had just said.
"Don't worry. She loves you. There's nothing I'm more sure of than that." Richie said placing his hand on Freen's shoulder.
"Thank you." Freen said

Just then, Becky burst into the condo.
"Billy has been taken!" Becky shouted
