During a night out, Freen, the daughter and heir of a conglomerate awakens a part of herself when she locks eyes with a young physics professor, Becky.
They fall HARD and FAST before realising all the obstacles that prevent them from being together...
Freen and Becky entered the house and after greeting her Ma they both scurried up to Becky's room. "Marlin!" Becky called out. The blue mist that began to emerge shocked Freen and when Marlin popped out of nowhere Freen's eyes were wide open.
"Not my..." Marlin said before spotting Freen. He hovered over to Freen placing his face uncomfortably close to hers. "Sarocha" Marlin said "How do you know my given name?" Freen asked "I've seen you before." Marlin said
"Oh yeah, I may have had him spy on you initially, when I wasn't sure how you felt about me?" Freen said "You weren't sure how I felt about you?" Freen said attacking Becky with tickles "Stop!" Becky exclaimed They both fell onto the bed. "Well do you know now?" Freen said "Yes I do... Sarocha" Becky said
"Urmm... should I leave you two alone?" Marlin said "No, Freen was just leaving. I just wanted to introduce you to her. Watch out though she's very hard to impress." Becky said "I don't need to impress her" Marlin sulked as he disappeared
Freen got up from the bed. "I should go now or I'll never leave." Freen said "Ok... I'm excited about this weekend!" Becky said "Me too. I love You." Freen said exiting the room. Becky walked her to the door. "I love You" Becky said waving her off.
As Freen drove home she briefly thought about Marlin. Her given name, Sarocha, wasn't on any documents but her birth certificate. She wondered how he knew it.

As the sun began to set, Freen and Becky stood hand in hand on the white sandy beach of Phuket. The gentle waves of the turquoise ocean lapped against the shore as the couple watched the sun slowly dip below the horizon, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink.
Freen had planned this romantic date meticulously, wanting to create a special moment for them to remember forever. As they strolled along the beach, Freen led Becky to a secluded spot where she had set up a picnic blanket and a basket of their favorite foods.

As they sat down to enjoy the spread, Freen couldn't help but stare at Becky, feeling overwhelmed with love and admiration. Becky was looking down at her phone. "Hey Becky!" Freen said "Teerak.." Becky said Freen blushed, "Let's turn our phones off for the rest of the weekend. I just want it to be you and me" Freen said "Sure, why are you looking at me like that though?" Becky smiled
Freen took a deep breath in. "Becky, I know I've been very inconsistent with you for a long time," Freen said "So was I." Becky said "At least you had a valid reason, most of the time mine was fear based. I've put you through a lot." Freen said "But look where we are now." Becky smiled
"But I want to be more than that now, I want you to know that I'm serious about this." Freen said, her voice trembling with emotion. Becky looked at Freen, her heart racing with anticipation. "What do you mean Freen?" she asked, her eyes shining with hope.
"I mean now that I'm not engaged, I'm single, I want to commit to you. I want to be your girlfriend. Do you want to be mine?" Freen asked "Freen, I want to spend every moment with you, making memories and sharing experiences. I love you, more than I've ever loved anyone," Becky said, her voice soft and tender.
"Is that a yes?" Freen asked "Yes." Becky replied
Becky's eyes filled with tears as she leaned in to kiss Freen. The moment felt magical, as if time had stood still just for them. As they pulled away from each other, Freen took out a small box from her pocket, and handed it to Becky.
Becky opened the box, and inside was a delicate gold necklace, with a small pendant in the shape of a star. "It's beautiful, Freen," Becky said, her voice cracking with emotion. "I'm glad you like it. It's a symbol of my love for you. There's a quote that says 'In the darkness, you can see stars', that's what you've been for me. Even in the darkest moments I could see you and feel you. My love for you exists even with nothing making it visible. It makes itself visible all on it's own." Freen said, beaming with happiness.
They spent the rest of the evening cuddled up together, watching the stars twinkle above them. Becky looked up at Freen, now in her embrace, "I never knew you were this romantic." Becky said "I'm full of surprises." Freen said The night was filled with laughter and love, as they talked about their dreams and aspirations for the future.
MEANWHILE... As the day of the election progressed, tensions were high throughout Thailand. Khun Sa's supporters had been rallying for weeks, spreading propaganda and painting a picture of a country in need of strong leadership.
As the first polling stations began to close, it became clear that Khun Sa had a significant lead. His supporters cheered in the streets, waving flags and chanting his name. Fears of voter fraud and corruption began to surface, but they were quickly silenced by Khun Sa's powerful allies in the media.
As the night wore on, the results began to trickle in. Khun Sa's lead was steadily increasing, as more and more votes were counted. His opponents tried to fight back, rallying their own supporters and calling for a recount, but it was too late.
The news of Khun Sa's victory spread quickly throughout the country. Many were dismayed, fearful of what his rule would mean for Thailand's democracy and freedoms. But others celebrated, seeing Khun Sa as a strong and decisive leader who would bring order and stability to the nation.
Freen and Becky were blissfully unaware of the dark forces at play, as they enjoyed their romantic weekend together. For them, the world was perfect, and they were in love.
Little did they know that the world around them was about to change forever, as Khun Sa's grip on power tightened, and his disdain for the royal family began to spread throughout the land.
