During a night out, Freen, the daughter and heir of a conglomerate awakens a part of herself when she locks eyes with a young physics professor, Becky.
They fall HARD and FAST before realising all the obstacles that prevent them from being together...
"Hengy!" Baitoey exclaimed "Oh hey!" Heng replied nervously "Don't worry, I'm not going to get in the way of Freen and Becky. She's head over heels in love with Freen. I never stood a chance" Baitoey laughed Heng laughed nervously too.
"Are you ready to go yet?" Baitoey asked turning to Becky Becky popped her head to the side to peek at Freen one last time. "Yeah, let's go." Becky replied "Get home safe!" Heng said
When Becky arrived home she ran up to her room and washed up. When she was ready for bed she sat up in the bed with her back against the headboard and called out, "Marlin!"
A puff of blue smoke began to gather and shortly after Marlin appeared. "Not my Rebecca, how can I help you?" Marlin said "I just need someone to talk to" Becky replied "Knock yourself out" Marlin said, leaning back into a comfortable position.

"It's about love" Becky said "Go on.." Marlin replied "Do you think someone can fall out of love with you if you hurt them badly enough?" Becky asked Marlin sat up, he looked at Becky as though he recognised something in her. "Yes and No. Why do you ask?" He said
"Well, there's a girl who said that she was in love with me. But I hurt her very deeply. I'm wondering if I should fight for her or let her go." Becky replied Marlin laughed, "you'd think you would be more concerned with your more immediate issues"
"I've given enough time to family curses and things beyond my control. I want to spend whatever time I have left in the most meaningful way." Becky said "And what way is that?" Marlin asked "With her" Becky said "I see" Marlin said
"Even if I had a wish it's not like I could make her fall in love with me again." Becky said "What makes you think she's not still in love with you?" Marlin asked "What did you mean by Yes AND No?" Becky asked
"Well... Yes, they can fall out of love with you if the very thing they fell in love with has changed. But No, they won't just fall out of love with you if the hurt is rooted in their love for you in the first place." Marlin said
Marlin turned around to think and after a few minutes he snapped his fingers as though he'd been hit with a great idea. "I already told you, I still don't have my full powers but there's something I can do to help. I may be able to get you the clarity you need." Marlin replied

The next day Becky called a taxi to pick her up in the afternoon. She left the house with just a satchel. The taxi pulled up about 45minutes later at a familiar house.
Becky was trembling but she rang the bell anyway. "Freen..." Becky said "Becky..." Freen said coldly "Uh, hi" Becky said
"How can I help you?" Freen said "I came to apologise to you properly for what happened the other night" Becky said "Ah, ok" Freen said
Becky looked down, it did not seem like Freen cared much for her apology. "I know there's no excuse for what I did, I played with your emotions and ultimately misled you to get what I wanted" Becky said "Right..." Freen replied "It breaks me to know that you out of everyone would have understood the most what I was going through having lost your parents. Being that your parents were also killed." Becky continued
Freen's expression had not changed. She was listening but it was hard to tell if she was hearing what Becky was saying. Freen sighed.
"I'm sorry" Becky said "It's ok. I forgive you." Freen blurted out "You do?" Becky asked "Yes... sorry, is that all? I'm kind of in the middle of something." Freen asked "Uh yeah... that- that was it" Becky said
"Ok, I'll see you soon. Safe journey back." Freen turned around and just before she shut the door behind her, Marlin's blue mist slipped between the gate.
