Chapter 90 🧭

"I'm back!" Marlin exclaimed
"That was more like 15minutes!" Becky said
"Sorry but I brought someone back with me look." Marlin said
"Hello, nice to meet you all. I'm Ravon, Marlin's aide and oldest friend." Ravon said
"Ravon!" Becky exclaimed
"Wait Becky, you got it working?" Richie asked
"Yep!" Becky said
"Well done babe." Freen said

"Hello? H-Hello? Are you guys having mental breakdowns or something. The king. My son. What's the plan?!"
"Right, Heng, here. You need to show us how we nullify genie magic using this. It may give us the upper hand we need to save Billy and probably Non." Freen said
"If Sa lays eyes on Non, he's as good as dead so let's just hope we're not too late." General Wo said

Heng stepped forward and opened the box. Inside it was a rack of test tubes.
Heng picked up a tube and drank it to everyone surprise.
"You drink this and you won't be influenced or affected by genie magic." Heng said
"Really?" Richie said
Marlin and Becky looked at each other.
"That's it?" Freen asked
"Yeah..." Heng said
"I was hoping for a more offensive weapon but it will do." Freen said

"Now all we have to do is find Billy." Becky said
"I've already found him." Non said stepping into the house.
"Non!" General Wo exclaimed as he jumped to hug him
"See big hearts," Heng said turning to Becky

"Where is he?" Freen asked
"In the palace, in the lower level next to the pantry." Non said
"Did you go to the palace?!" Freen asked
"Yes, I've lived there all my life. I know all the hidden entrances and exits." Non said
"That was incredibly dangerous. You're the heir to the throne." General Wo said
"Am I though?" Non said

"Ok, we have 8 tubes of anti-genie-magic-serum" Freen said
"Nice name babe." Becky said sarcastically
"Ha! If we each take one and save one for Billy we still have one more that we can try to insert into the water supply in the city. Heng/Richie can you guys find a way to do that?" Freen said
"I'm going to the palace." Heng said
"Heng my boy, you're very pretty but you're not a fighter. Your efforts are better placed with Richie trying to save the people." General Wo said
"Now he remembers me, now I'm 'my boy'?" Heng muttered
"We'll handle it." Richie said

"General Wo and Non, we're going to need a safe way in and out of the palace. You know the location best. We split into two groups. General, Becky, Marlin are group one. You guys will need to distract Khun Sa and potentially his genie Wilden who's powers should have no affect on you. Non, Ravon and I will rescue Billy and get him to safety." Freen said
"How are We meant to distract them?" Wo said
"Not so much a distraction as it is a proposition." Becky said
"They can go back home now right?" Freen said
"Yes," Marlin said
"Not much of a home but..." Ravon said
Marlin glared at Ravon

"Ok, everything clear?" Freen asked
"Yes." They all responded
"Be safe!" Freen said
"Ready up! We'll head out in an hour!" General Wo said

Freen headed into the kitchen.
"Marlin, can we talk?" Freen said
"Sure." Marlin replied
"Baby, can you come over too." Freen said
"Uh yeah..." Becky replied

"What is it?" Marlin asked
"Is there anything else that I need to know before we do this? Anything from my past that I don't already know?" Freen asked
Becky and Marlin looked at each other.
"What is it??" Freen continued
