"Your father is waiting for you in the throne room. I know you don't want to go but you're going to get both of us in trouble." Ravon said
"Ah right, yeah let's go!"
Ravon lead Becky down a long hallway and into a large circular room where there was quite an audience waiting. Representatives from the Green Genies, the Pink Genies, and the dreaded Purple Genies.
There was a large blue genie sitting on the throne. Ravon guided Becky to take a seat at his side and Becky did, nervously.
"Nice of you to join us." He whispered
Becky smiled.
A purple genie stood up from across the room and addressed the king.
"If I may my king?" He said
"Yes, go on Wilden" The Genie King said
"All due... Respect... what has the crown done for us purple genies to prevent our people from being captured, tortured, discriminated against and despised? But you plan on expanding relations with the humans? Since they discovered us using their little bottles and lamps we've been nothing but a tool for them why must we continue to pander to their whims." Wilden said
The king laughed.
"You sound just like my son. So I'll tell you what I tell him. You're being short sighted. Humans are not all abusive, ignorant and self seeking. Do you remember at all how the agreement between genie and humans began?" The king said
Wilden sat down. The king stood up.
"Oh here we go." Wilden said
"Genies were once hunted for their magical essence. We almost went extinct. However, the human boy, Aur Jadui Chirag, centuries ago saved our genie queen by encasing her in a bottle. Queen Navaur was pregnant with the 4 heirs to the kingdom. The young boy ensured the birth of our beautiful kingdom. When the queen gave birth she promised his heirs access to our mystical magic." The king explained
"No one here is unaware of your fairytales and folklore. But it's most reasonable to assume most of her line has died out." Wilden argued
The king sat down again.
"We cannot make a liar of our ancestors. That will hold great consequence. There's no real way to know if his kin have truly died out." The king said
"I'm sure we can find a way" Wilden said
"And so this matter is settled. Humans are a weaker vessels and they fear anything they don't understand or can't control. The power of the purple genie frightens them. We must seek to help them understand that purple genies mean them no harm. I acknowledge, every race and specie have their criminal outliers." They king said
"Criminal Outliers? My people continue to be killed and tortured and you're calling it an acceptable compromise?!" Wilden shouted
"ENOUGH!" The king shouted
Wilden retreated.
"I will send an envoy to their leaders addressing this issue. This meeting is concluded." The king said
The room began to empty and there were mixed opinions on the conclusion of the meeting. Some agreed with Wilden as they were now weary of humans and others who were praised and loved by humans remained content.
When the room was empty the king looked over at his prince.
"I know you don't agree." The king said
"Huh?" Becky jolted out of her daze
"One day you'll understand why genies and humans must coexist." The king said
"Right..." Becky said
"Are you okay?" The king said as he made his way to the door.
"Uh yeah, so your just going to leave the purple genies to suffer?" Becky said
"You as Well as I know that Wilden and his people continue to aggravate the situation more and more." The king said
"They're being killed and tortured!!" Becky said firmly
The king ignored Becky and walked off.
Becky went back to the room with Ravon in tow. She lay on the unusually huge bed in deep thought.
"My prince, you have a lot to do today." Ravon coughed
"Oh I do?" Becky replied
" Urmm yes, my prince." Ravon said
"Ah ok. Let's go!" Becky said as she jumped put of bed.
