The following morning Freen woke up much earlier than Becky. She stared at her for minutes taking in her beauty but also feeling anxious about Becky waking up and regretting last night.

Becky's eyes opened slowly.
"Ouch!" Becky said
"Are you okay?" Freen said with a concerned look on her face.
"Yes, I'm fine. You're looking at me like I'm on the verge of death" Becky laughed
Freen's concern persisted, "death?" She thought
"What is it?" Becky said
"I was going to wait till you were ready to tell me but I can't afford to lose you." Freen said
"Lose me?" Becky said
"Noey told me about you dying" Freen said

"Noey told you what?" Becky said
"Well Chen told him and Richie told Chen. That you were dying! That you were going to die." Freen said
Becky burst into laughter.
Freen's face scrunched up and turned red.
"I guess not?" Freen said

Becky continued to laugh.
"Stop laughing at me. I thought you were dying!" Freen said
"You're not wrong." Becky laughed
"Becky!" Freen exclaimed
"I was dying. Well I was going to die. I'm not anymore though." Becky said
"What do you mean?" Freen asked
"When our family lost Marlin centuries ago we received a curse. Every third generation first born woman in our family died before the age of 25." Becky said
"But not anymore?" Freen said
"We broke the curse when Heng was kidnapped." Becky said

Freen pondered for a moment.
"So you got Marlin back?" Freen asked
"Yeah😅" Becky replied
"And when we found Heng. Did you have anything to do with that?" Freen asked
"It was my first wish." Becky said

Freen looked into Becky's eyes then hugged her tightly.
"Thank you." Freen said
"By the way, were you watching me sleep?" Becky asked
"No..." Freen said covering her face in embarrassment
"Where'd you go?" Becky said
Freen suddenly retreated into herself.

Becky pulled the duvet away from her face but Freen used it to cover her face again.
"Was last night okay?" Freen muffled through the duvet
"What?" Becky said
"Was what we did last night ok?" Freen muffled again
"Hey Freen, I can't hear you. What's wrong?" Becky said removing the duvet from infront of her face once more.

Freen looked down with her face now uncovered.
"You don't regret it do you?" Freen said
Becky smiled. She cupped Freen's face in her hand and said, "Regret it? Of course not, I've been wanting to do that for so long."
"Really? Freen asked
"Yes. Freen I have loved you since the day we met. I don't know how but it's true. At first I thought I was just infatuated with you because you were my first but.." Becky said
"Your first?" Freen said

Becky blushed.
"Urmm.. yeah, I tend to be very cerebral with dating. Before you I'd never had sex with a woman... or anyone for that matter." Becky said
"Oh..." Freen said
"Oh?" Becky said
"I just mean, well I didn't know that." Freen said
"Well now you know!" Becky smiled

Freen rolled out of bed.
"I have to be somewhere before work today but I'll see you in the office later?" Freen said
"Yeah sure!" Becky said
"Aunt Mhee, will be downstairs she can help you if you need clothes or breakfast." Freen said
"I should be okay," Becky said

Freen grabbed a towel.
"Okay, I'm going to take a shower and leave." Freen said
"Okay..." Becky said
"What is it?" Freen said
"I love You." Becky said
Freen smiled.

Freen slammed her bag on Noey's desk.
"Good news! Becky isn't dying." Freen said
"She isn't?"Noey asked
"No but I'm going to kill you." Freen said
"Oh my god, the second hand embarrassment." Nam said
"Well that's good to hear!" Noey said

"Where did you go last night? By the time Non announced you had mutually broken the engagement off you were nowhere to be found." Nam said
Freen rolled her eyes as she sat down.

"I heard Heng is finally coming back. Shutting down pharmaceuticals and handing over resorts and leisure to Heidi." Nam said
"Yeah she'll be great at managing both. She's always had a knack for it." Freen said
"I guess there's no chance of that love being rekindled then." Nam said
"Give it up Namy" Noey said

Freen laughed, "no chance".
Nam and Noey's ears perked up. They knew something was up.
"I thought Becky was dying, you know. So after speaking to Non, I told her how I felt." Freen continued sheepishly
"That's so cute!" Noey said
"It is" Nam said reluctantly
"And?" Noey asked
"Well we left together." Freen said

"I'm so happy for you. You deserve to be happy." Noey said
"Yeah business is booming, you're not marrying someone you don't love, your family are going to be together again and you're in love and happy. What could go wrong?" Nam said
"Please don't jinx it." Noey said
"Speaking of Becky. I actually need you to do me a favour Noey." Freen said
