Freen and Heng arrived at their grandmothers home in good spirits. They had been talking and laughing the entire ride. Freen had teased Heng about Billy's clear attraction to him and Heng had teased Freen about all the embarrassing things that Freen had done because of her love for Becky.

They exited the car and made their way into the house.

Grandmother had personally prepared lunch for them and sent the housekeepers away on a break. The house seemed so quiet and serene.

"Hurry up, it's getting cold." Grams said

Freen and Heng sat at opposite sides of the table and as soon as grams had served herself they followed suit

Freen and Heng sat at opposite sides of the table and as soon as grams had served herself they followed suit. There was silence at the table for a considerable number of minutes before grams broke the silence with a question.

"So, Freen, tell me about Becky." Grams smiled
Freen coughed up her food. Heng giggled.
"Uh Becky?" Freen asked
"Yes, my friends granddaughter." Grams said
Freen stared Heng down.
"Oh uh, she's good. She's 24, physics professor, extremely smart, she holds a PHD from Cambridge university. Their family live in the outskirts." Freen said
"No..." grams said
"No?" Freen asked
"I mean tell me how you two fell in love." Grams smiled

Freen was taken back by grams words. She knew Heng must have told her everything but strangely Grams seemed happy about it.

"Urmm.. grams that's embarrassing." Freen said with a smile
"Oh come on. Okay fine, at least tell me you're going to sort through all your misunderstandings."
"I don't know. I'm still in pain. From the last time I opened up to her the hurt I experienced is still there." Freen said
"I understand." Grams said

Freen stared at her grandmother. It had been a long time since she'd seen her grandmother so sensitive.

"What? You didn't think I knew about Becky? I did." Grams said
"No I just, it's been a while since we talked like this. Anyway, I'm not sure what to do about Becky yet. And what about non?" Freen asked
"That's actually why we're having this lunch speedy." Heng said
"Now that the royal family is involved, it's only a matter of time before the Mukhtar are in ruin. Is there need for you to marry someone you don't love?" Grams said

Freen stopped to think for a moment. She hadn't actually thought about it deeply. She had only thought about being true to her word.

"Freen, you don't have to worry about the business anymore. We've been able to recover, with all this new coverage on us people have been rallying to support our businesses. We're in a good position" Heng continued

Freen paused to think.
"Non did not have to marry me. Actually I was rather rude the first time we met. He told me he knew about the financial issues our company was having and that he had done a lot of research on me. He said that I was a good person and someone that deserved to have a sense of peace in my life after so much loss. That is why he decided to marry me. At the time it irritated me that he thought he knew me but now I realise he was just being himself. He's naturally kind and would make a good husband. He once told me that his only dream was to have a family to carry on his line and I assumed that it was him trying manipulate a bargain out of me. I marry him and our company is saved in exchange for an heir. Again, I now realise he was just being honest in the moment. He's a good person and I can't abandon him." Freen said

Heng looked at Freen with concern.
"Maybe you have assumed that he still wants to go through with it also." Grams said
"I don't think so." Freen said
