Y/N woke up to find herself laid next to Sihtric, with Cynlæf in the middle of them. While Finan was sat on the other side fast asleep. She realised they had fallen asleep in the roots of a tree with the others. Y/N got up silently to look around, finding Uhtred at the top of the hill, looking out.
"Did you sleep, alright?" Uhtred asked her, a worried look on his face.
"Suprisingly." She said, a small smile forming on her lips as she listened to the silence.
"It was bound to happen. You are with child. These are not the best of times." Y/N rolled her eyes at Uhtred. They certainly were not the best times for any of them right now, but they had each other, and that was the main thing.
"Anyone who shits liquid, will be left behind." Finan said as he clanged his swords together, making Y/N and Uhtred laugh.
"At least he has a sense of humour." Uhtred said to her as he squeezed her shoulder, watching Finan walk past them with a tired look on his face.

Y/N walked back down to check on Cynlæf and Sihtric to find them stretching. Cynlæf ran to give his mother a hug when he saw her. She placed a kiss on the top of his head as she wrapped his arms around his shoulders. Sihtric smiled at the two as he squeezed her shoulder before going off into the woods.
"Where is Ælfwynn?!" Eadith pipped up, looking around for the blonde child. Y/N frowned as she looked where they had slept, to find her not there.
"You stay here in case she comes back, Eadith. I will find Uhtred. Stiorra, you go that way and see if she's there." Y/N said as she went off into the woods to find Uhtred or her husbands.
"Uhtred." Y/N called out, trying to look anywhere but forward in case he was doing his business.
"I'm here."
"Ælfwynn has gone wondering off." Y/N said.
"Take Finan and go that way." Y/N nodded and headed in the direction Uhtred said, as quietly as she could. The three of them crept around to the side and looked around to find a group of men and guards asleep in the woods not far from them.

The three of them looked at each other with a confused look, slightly backing away once they saw Uhtred carrying Ælfwynn.
"We need to move now." Finan said as he grabbed Y/Ns hand. Uhtred signalled them to run down the path as fast as they could before the men found them. Eadith grabbed the two boys hand and ran with them, trying to help them not to trip over. In the end, Sihtric and Finan grabbed the two boys, picking them up as they kept slipping.
"We will stop at the opening briefly." Uhtred said as they kept running. Their legs forced them to keep running until they were out of danger. Eadith slowed down to catch Y/N to stop her from falling.
"We are nearly there, Lady." Eadith said.
"I am stronger than I look." Y/N said defiantly.
"I do not doubt that, Lady." Eadith breathed out as they reached the opening, dropping down to the floor tiredly. Eadith handed Y/N her water first before taking it after her. She looked over to see the tired children panting. Y/N turned her back from Eadith to throw up. A recognised sickened feeling she had. She felt a hand warm hand on her back, gently rubbing, still holding out the water for her.
"I have some medicines in my bag for sickness, Lady. It may help you." Eadith offered as she shuffled in her bag, pulling out a tiny vile to give to her. Y/N took the vile, looking at her warily before agreeing to drink it.
"Y/N, are you ready to move?" Sihtric asked as he looked over at her. "We just have to get back into the woods." Y/N nodded at Sihtrics words as she stood up, wiping her face, walking towards them to restart the journey again.
