Chapter 71

"I am going to kill him... If Cleo or the baby are hurt i am going to kill him...!" I hear vaguely being yelled... "You saw... My brother was under her control... No need to kill him..." I heard another voice say... "Yeah again why dont we bring her out in the field?" I heard... "Dont start Tony..." I heard being growled and i slowly open my eyes... Steve is sitting next to me still wearing his suit... I take his hand making him look at me and i smile... 

"Hello my gorgeous husband..." I whisper and he smiles but a tear runs down his cheek. "Dont cry... Please dont cry... I am okay... It just took a lot of energy..." I whisper and he kisses my hand. "I was so scared... Hearing you talk to him through the phone with Fury... I am sorry i didn't pick up when you called me... I am so so so sorry..." He says guilt washing over him and i cupped his face... "It is okay... I am fine... Everything worked out... Loki is in a cell... Right?" I say and Steve takes a deep breath... "Right?" I say again but this time looking at Thor... "Yes, he is in a cell princess..." Steve said and Thor looks torn... 

"If it helps i dont believe your brother is pure evil..." I say to Thor, and he looks at me surprised.... "I looked in his head... He is in pain... Emotional pain..." I say and Thor gives me a little smile. 

I try to sit up, but Steve stops me... "Easy princess..." He says and i roll my eyes. "Well if you dont let me get up... Can someone get me something to eat... I am hungry..." I say and Tony smirks... "I'll go get you something..." He says and i nod... 

"I am going to check on my brother..." Thor said walking out... I sat up and this time waved Steve away when he wanted to stop me. "Why didn't you get changed..." I whisper cupping his face and kissing him... "Yeah, i wasn't going to leave your side princess... When i heard your voicemail i thought my whole world ended... Then when Fury put the call on speaker... Minutes were hours..." Steve said and i sighed. "Sorry... I didn't mean to scare you... I didn't know if my powers would work... I needed to stall him until you were close enough just in case it wouldn't work and i needed to run..." I said blushing and he shook his head. 

"I am just glad you are okay..." Steve says and we hear a door open and Banner walks in. "So, she is completely fine..." Banner says smiling and i chuckle. "I Told you... This is why you wouldn't let me get up... You wanted to hear it from Banner?" I ask smirking and he blushes. 

The door opens again and Tony walks in with a bag... "Cheeseburgers for the pregnant lady..." He says and i chuckle... "Of course, cheeseburgers..." I mumble smirking... "Steve can i talk to you outside for a second..." Tony says and Steve looks at me and i nod... He kisses the top of my head, and they walk out... 

I dig into my burgers and Banner chuckles... "You must have been scared..." Banner said and i sigh taking another bite... "Yes and no... I was scared because i didnt know if i could defend myself... Maybe after the baby is born i try and to see what my powers can really do... I never really done that..." I mumble and Banner smiles... "I would be more than happy to help you with that..." He says smiling and i nod with a smirk on my face... "It is a deal..." I say taking another bite...

"No!!! Absolutely not!!! I will not allow it..." We hear being yelled and i look at Banner who shrugs his shoulders. I get of the bed and sigh putting my food down and walking out to where everyone is yelling at each other... 

They dont notice me... They keep yelling and from what i understand Loki is willing to talk but only to me... Steve is against so is Thor... But Tony thinks it is a good idea... Bucky and Nat are on the fence... They all have opinions, and nobody thinks to ask what i want... 

"Ahum..." I say but nobody notices and the keep arguing getting louder and louder a bunch of stubborn egos in one room... "For the love of god everyone just shut up!!! Or i will make you shut up..." I yell and this seems to get everyone's attention... "Why am i not included in this conversation? Seeing as it is about me..." I ask... But the room stays silent until Tony breaks it... 

"Loki is agreeing to talk...But only to you... He seems to like you because he keeps asking how you are doing..." Tony says and i watch Steve who get incredibly tense... "Okay... You think i should... Why?"  I ask Tony holding up my hand as Steve want to protest... "You will get your turn captain..." I say and he sighs... "Tony wipe that smirk off your face before i slap it off..."  I say annoyed at his reaction... "Just say your opinion and act normal" I say as the doors open and Fury walks in...

"Because you might be the only one who can find out his plan..." Tony says and i sigh. "He is getting inpatient wanting to know how Cleo is doing?" Fury interrupts and i look confused. "Then just tell him..." I say and he shakes his head. "We won't...  Not until we get something in return..." Fury explains and i sigh... 

"Okay everyone out but Steve out..." I say and they all look at me surprised... "What! I need to discuss this with my husband... We are married now... A team... Besides there is another factor into why he has a say... I am carrying his baby, so he gets a say... Maybe not a final decision... But a say for sure... So yes, everyone out i want to discuss this with my husband in private..." I say and they all under soft protest walk out leaving me and Steve alone in the room...

"Jarvis... Start privacy protocol..." I say and the shutters go down and the room is sealed.
