Chapter 84

"Princess..." I heard and Steve appeared in the bathroom... I had just put on the shower... I really wanted to take a bath to relax but i wouldn't get out on my own and i was not risking falling over or getting stuck... "What?" I said letting out a sigh... 

I started to undress myself and Steve groaned... "Princess i can't talk to you like this..." He said and i shrugged my shoulders. I didn't listen and got rid of the last of my clothes and stepped under the hot water... "There is nothing to talk about... You are going off on you mission leaving me all alone and that is not going to change..." I said letting out a sigh as the hot water ran over me... 

I tried staying angry because i  let go of the anger the fear of being alone was going to set in... Anger was the only thing stopping me from breaking down... I heard him move but didn't look at him knowing that that will break my anger... I fell him step behind me in the shower his big strong hands on my shoulders massaging them and i let out a little hum my body relaxing under his touch... 

He releases me and i hear him open a bottle and a second later his big strong hands are massaging me soaping me up... "I am sorry... I know i am being unreasonable... But i am scared of being alone..." I whisper letting my anger finally go and he sighs as his hands roam over my belly washing me... "I almost can't get out of bed or a chair... Everything hurts and..." I said and Steve stepped in front of me and cut me off kissing me... "I'll stay home..." He whispers and i looked up at him shocked... "You can do that?" I whisper and he shrugs his shoulders... "You can't do that..." I said all of a sudden feeling really selfish... 

Steve steps in front of me and makes me look up at him... "I can... They can do this mission without me... I'll just put Tony in charge..." He said and i groaned... "You can't do that... It will be a disaster..." I say letting out a groan resting head on his chest and Steve chuckles... "They will be fine... Tony is more serious out in the field than at home..." He said and i sighed... "But what if something happens to them... I know you... You will blame yourself... You have to go..." I mumble and i can feel his frustration bubble over and for a moment he loses his cool... 

"Seriously... You give me crap for going and now i am getting crap for staying?" He says raising his voice a little and i look up at him... "Sorry..." I say and i start crying... "Princess... Dont cry... Please dont cry..." He whispers but i can't seem to stop... "Okay... Let it all out..." He whispers wrapping his arms around me and pulling as close as possible... 

I start to shiver, and Steve turns off the water after rinsing me off... "Okay let's get you dry and dressed..." He whispered and hummed as he dried me off and walked out coming back with his sweatpants and a hoodie... He helped me get dressed and i was sure that i looked ridiculous in his clothes but i didn't care... They were comfortable and that was all i cared about right now... Steve got dressed himself and when he came back out of the closet, he chuckled looking at me before kneeling down in front of me and rolling up my pants sleeves so i wont trip over it... 

"Jarvis call everyone up to our apartment..." Steve said and i looked at him confused... "We are going to talk to everyone and come up with a solution... Because you are right... You can't stay here all alone..." He said and i blushed... 

One by one everyone appeared and i looked around the room feeling a bit ridiculous... "Dont worry princess... It will be okay..." Steve whispered in my ear as everyone was now here... Steve stood up and got everyone's attention and for a second i was amazed at the fact that as soon as he did the room went quiet... 

"I have a little dilemma i want to discuss..." He said and he took a deep breath... "Cleo can't stay home alone..." Nat said interrupting with a smile on her face and he looked at her surprised... "Dont look so surprised Rogers... We were all wondering when you came to this realization on your own... And we all heard the argument..." She said smirking and Steve was stunned for a second... I on the other hand wanted the world to swallow me whole for letting everyone enjoy my little tantrum... 

"Right..." He said... "I can stay here... If Cleo is okay with that..." Nat said and everyone nodded... "I think you boys can handle one little mission on your own without me keeping you all in line..." She said joking and i chuckled at their eyerolls...

"Besides Cleo and i can have some girl time... We are way overdue..." She said and i smiled... "Is everyone okay with that?" Steve asked looking around the room and they all nodded... "Can you stay with me here in the apartment..." I whisper blushing looking at Nat and she smiled... "Try and stop me..." She said and i smiled back at her... "That would be so hot if Cleo wasn't huge..." Sam said nudging Bucky and i look at him shocked tears springing in my eyes...

I started to cry and Bucky punched Sam who fell down the couch... "I am sorry... I didnt mean it like that..." He said looking at me and i shook my head... "It is okay i know i am disgusting..." I said and i moved and Steve quickly helped me up... "Excuse me..." I whispered and i waddled off back to the bedroom as tears were now streaming down my face... I heard Sam being scolded by everyone and a few seconds later Nat appeared in the bedroom... "Dont listen to him Cleo... You look beautiful... He is just an ignorant man... Who has no idea what you are going through..." She said crawling beside me on the bed and hugged me... 

"I know... I just can't help it... These damn hormones..." I mumble and she laughed... The baby kicked and i winced... "It hurts?" She asked and i nodded and took her hand putting it on my belly... "Holly shit..." She mumbled as she fell the baby kick... "Yeah... lucky me... pregnant with a super soldier baby who is not letting me sleep... Kicks the shit out of me already and only calms down when his father talks to him..." I mumble and Nat looks at me shocked... "His...? It is a boy..." She whispered and i looked at her shocked for letting the cat out of the bag... I nodded and she let out a little squeal and hugged me even tighter... "You can't tell anyone..." I whisper and she smiles... "Not a soul..." She said and we both giggled... 

There was a knock on the door and a guilty looking Sam appeared... "Cleo i am sorry... I..." He said but i held up my hand... "It is okay... but i want to sleep for a bit now..." I said and i nodded and he left again... Nat and i both giggled again as she put her hands on my belly again while i got comfortable... "Hello little guy... I am your auntie Nat... Be good for mommy and let her sleep okay..." She said and i let out a sigh... "Keep talking... It works... Dont stop talking" I mumble drifting off to sleep...
