No one's POV

After leaving Philia and Asuna, Nhazul and Kirito decided to investigate and followed Nezha to a bar. In the bar, Nezha reunited with some friends.

Kirito: He went into a bar? That's the last place I'd think someone like him would go. Especially with friends.

Nhazul: Be quiet. I can't hear, and nether of us have to be [Eavesdropping] Skill.

As the two listen in, they heard Nezha and his friends beginning to talk, along with Nezha sounding extremely remorseful. The two had also noticed him struggling to push in his chair into the table.

Nezha: I... I don't think we can keep doing this...

The moment those words left his mouth, his friends quickly lowered their voices.

Kirito: Okay, that's definitely sus...

Nhazul: Be quiet.

Player#1: It's fine. You're doing great.

Player#2: That's right, Nezuo. Nobody's talking about it in the least.

Nezha: But it's too dangerous to keep up. Besides, we already made back our costs.

Player#3: Are you kidding? We're just getting started. We've got to take it in so we can catch up to the Top Players while we're still on the 2nd Floor!

Hearing this, Nhazul and Kirito both looked confused.

Nhazul's thoughts: Made back the cost? Rake it in? But he lost money buying back the broken weapon. How could the standard commission possibly-

Before he could finish his thought, one of Nezha's friends detected them and tried to follow them. Nhazul and Kirito managed to escape with their [Hiding] Skills.

Kirito: Phew... Looks like we just avoided getting caught.

Nhazul: I have a lot more respect for Argo, if this is what she does everyday...

Kirito: But our little spying mission was still a success. They're definitely up to something shady.

Nhazul: Yeah. He's intentionally botching up weapon upgrades for some kind of profit.

Kirito: You think someone is paying him to intentionally sabotage specific powerful players?

Nhazul: I doubt it. At least not in such a roundabout way at least.

Kirito: But it has to be something... When he upgraded Asuna's Rapier... He held it and then he threw the materials into the forge, pulled the sword from the sheath and hit it with his hammer. A few seconds later, the sword glew and shattered.

Nhazul: We all kept our eyes on it. And he couldn't have removed the materials since it was glowing.

As the two continued to think, Kirito quickly thought of something,as if coming to a realization.
