A/N: Well the tables have turned!!! AU where they are teachers in college and Rhett is the one that has to wear glasses. I think I got too carried away with this one since it's a lot bigger than the other ones, but when I saw that gif, the idea just wouldn't leave my head and I needed something where Rhett was like, "the more innocent one", I guess. I hope you guys enjoy it. Let me know what you think :) (Punk Office will be back soon!) (gif credit to graveyard-whistler on tumblr).

- See you next week. - Rhett said as the students started to pack their backpacks or just grabbing their class material, and made their way to the exit door. When the room was finally empty, Rhett sat down at his chair and deeply sighed, rubbing his head with his fingers. He leaned on the desk and took off his glasses, massaging his nose at the space between his eyes.

The last two weeks were complete stress. The final exams were right across the door and Rhett tried his best to prepare his students as much as he could. Staying up until 3am doing summaries of the stuff they needed to know (which was a lot) and searching for exercises to practice in class, had turned into a routine for the tall man. The sleep deprivation still bothered him a bit, sometimes making him fall asleep on top of his laptop, but he battled it.

Rhett loved his students. They knew each other for years and the bonds that they created were stronger than anything. He always had their back, and they always had his. It was a beautiful relationship and Rhett felt like they were all a big family. Saying goodbye to them will surely hurt as hell.

Rhett put his glasses back on and started to put the books and the papers inside his bag, together with his laptop. This was his last class and the fact of being able to go home now made him smile to himself. He carefully closed the door of the classroom and made his way to the teachers' room.

Most of his well-known friends were already there. They gave Rhett a nice smile as he walked in and he gave them a smile back. Then Rhett sat at his chair behind the big circular table and put his bag on top of it, taking off some papers that he diced he'd leave at his locker. Claire, one of the science teachers (and a really close friend of his), sat beside him, a mug rested in her hands.

- How was the class? - she asked. Claire always asked this kind of questions when she saw that Rhett's face was more tired looking than usual, and Rhett found that really really sweet.

- It was okay. They're getting really good at solving these - he showed the exams from previous years that he had printed. - I think they're gonna do pretty good at the finals.

- I'm sure they will. - she smiled.

- How about you? How's stuff at home? - the blond asked, organizing the papers.

He heard Claire take a sip of the coffee that was inside the mug and then sigh. - Pretty much the same... But I don't want to think too much about it, you know.

Rhett looked her as she offered him a weak smile, and he smiled back, comforting her. - Stuff will work out, you'll see.

She nodded and took another sip.

Rhett's attention was pulled to a backpack being put on the table, at the other side of it. He looked up and observed his coworker, Link Neal, sitting on the chair that was beside him. Link was math's teacher, the most famous one in the college. Some say it was because of his weird and extreme ways to approach the students, others say it was because of his bad sense of humor.

Rhett didn't really consider Link a friend, at least not a close one. Even though he always hang out with him and the teachers from his group, Rhett didn't maintain much contact with him. He and Neal were really opposite personalities and tastes, so Rhett just didn't make an effort to actually hang out with him more. He couldn't disagree that the man was a genius though.  His students were the best in college and always had the highest grades at the finals. He was good at doing his job. A professional. And Rhett admired that.
