He Visits You At School {Part II}

During History, it's your turn to regret bringing Kai to school. You completely forgot that your teacher was going to review the accomplishments of the ninja today, and let's just say that she's a bit of a fangirl.

As in a lot of a fangirl. You sigh and put your head on your desk while your teacher succumbs to her tenth giggling fit of the day. Kai is staring at his desk with a look that's somewhere between embarrassment and exasperation on his face. You're glad when the bell rings.

"That teacher was kind of cute," Kai says quietly as you walk down the hall. "I wonder what—"

You glare at Kai and make a fist. "Say one more word, I dare you."

Kai raises his hands. "Kidding! She's way too old for me. And besides, she's not my type."

Your next class is Band. Kai can't exactly fake his way through it (he doesn't even play an instrument!) so you tell the teacher that he's thinking of moving here from out of town and you're showing him around the school. The teacher raises his eyebrows, but accepts that explanation and lets Kai sit in the corner for the class period.

Fortunately, you and Kai manage to make it through most of the day without attracting attention. Trouble finally happens during the last period of the day. The girl Kai brushed off this morning is in this class with you, and you can tell that she's plotting something.

"Miss l/n, who is this?" your teacher asks, glaring at Kai.

"He's a friend of mine," you say, using you excuse from band class. "His parents are thinking of moving out here, so I said I'd do him a favor and give him a tour of the school today."

"He is not!" the girl from earlier shouts. "He's her boyfriend!"

The entire class bursts out laughing. The teacher folds his arms and smirks a little bit. He really doesn't like you for some reason, and you suspect you're about to feel his wrath.

Sure enough, the teacher glares at Kai. "Hood off inside the building, young man."

"That's a really bad idea," Kai tells him.

"Take it off, now," the teacher repeats.

You shake your head, "Trust me, you really don't want him to do that."

"Take the hood off, or you'll both have detention until graduation!" the teacher shouts.

You and Kai look at each other and shrug. "Okay, but I warned you," Kai says. Then he flips his hood off.

There's a stunned silence for about two seconds. Then a girl near the front of the room stands up and screams, "OMG! It's Kai Smith!"

"Run, dude," you say. Kai hops out of his chair and sprints out the door with every girl in the classroom right behind him. You can hear them screaming from outside.

Your teacher just stands there with his mouth hanging open. 

"Warned you," you tell him.
