The Reincarnated Royalty

Chapter - 1

Walking in the school hallway, she heard someone call for her. "Claire! Over here!" She turned around and saw her best friend Rose. "What are you guys doing?" She asked her and saw a tall guy beside her, who was also her good friend. "Me and Ray are planning something for Julia's birthday." Rose said excitedly. "Count me in too." Claire said and they began arranging the stuff.

"You guys are planning for that girl's birthday??" The famous emo kid came there. "Dude, I know you don't like her much but at least behave for today." Ray said to him and he just turned his head to the side and walked away from there. 

"He's weird." Rose mumbled to herself. After preparing everything they all waited for Julia to come. Just then they spotted two of their friends. "Jasmine! Lucy!" Ray called them and they both also came there. "Have you seen Julia?" Claire asked them.

"Yeah, she just passed by." Jasmine replied. "I'll go fetch her." Rose said and went from there. "I do not want to admit it but these decorations are beautiful." Lucy said while looking around. "Thank you!" Ray and Claire said in unison.

After a few more minutes Rose and Julia came there. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIA!" They all wished her and she thanked them all. "Thank you so much guys but there was no need for all of this." She said while looking around. "Oh come on, it was so simple. We did not even have to do anything." Lucy said while wrapping her hand around her shoulder. "Because you didn't do it." Rose gritted her teeth. 

"Don't start fighting you two." Jasmine came in between. "Let's go back to the class." Julia said and they all went back.

After the teacher was done teaching, he went outside, and just as he left the famous wannabe bully came and sat in front of Lucy. "Hey beautiful~" He said in a flirty way but she just ignored it. "Don't ignore me please, beautiful girls like you deserve a handsome guy like me." He said but she just kept silent. "Handsome and you? Pfft." The same emo guy from the morning scoffed at him. "Jake....... It's the FIFTH DAMN TIME! I WILL KILL YOU!!!" He marched towards him but before he could do anything Lucy spoke up.

"For God's sake just shut up for a while Kevin and leave Jake." She glared at him. "You care about him so much huh?! He doesn't even bother to look at you." Kevin said while jerking off Jake's collar. "I don't care." Lucy said and went out of the class.

"She has such an attitude." The girl who was the most beautiful girl one could ever see spoke up. "I don't blame her though, Kevin is a jerk." Claire said while sitting next to her. "I agree." She said while brushing her hair. "Me?! A jerk?! You can't be serious Melanie!!!" He pointed at himself with wide eyes. "She is right, you are a jerk." Jake replied.

"Just stop bashing my dude!" James, the guy who was 'the best friend' of Kevin spoke up. "Does it even matter? You are the only one who always thinks he is right. It's clear that the majority wins." A guy with the most calm and charming face spoke up. "Theo is right." Another handsome guy spoke.

"Sky, I know you are a good person. Then why are you teaming up with them?" James asked that other guy. "Because I always go with what's right. I do not have any biased opinion." He said while opening a can of juice. "Now where did that can come from?" Ray asked him.

"Oh this, I just found it in the cafeteria this morning." He said and drank it. He then looked over to Ray who was glaring at him. "What's the matter?" He asked him. "That. was. mine" Ray gritted his teeth at him. "Oh, I'm sorry about that." Sky just shrugged it off.

Ray jumped from his seat and went to grab Sky's collar and intensely glared at him. They both were looking at each other when suddenly some blurry memories started flashing in front of them.

"You were not able to protect her?!!! Why just why?!!!"

"I tried...I tried to....."

"I will kill you!!"

They both pushed each other and started breathing heavily. The others looked at them concerned. "You guys ok?" Julia asked them but suddenly Sky tripped and fell with a loud thud. "You guys are hella noisy!! I am trying to sleep!!!" A girl who was sitting in the corner yelled at them but immediately became embarrassed after realizing what she had done. "Calm down Kylie." Rose said to her and she went back to her sleep.

After all that fuss was clear, Julia went to the library to get a new book.  She was looking around the whole place when she started to feel someone's gaze on her. She ignored it but when she felt it intensely, she looked there and saw Jake.

After getting caught he just looked the other way acting as if he was also finding a book. "That shelf belongs to children's books." She said to him making him more embarrassed and he just ran out from there. She chuckled at his behavior.

After a few minutes, she felt a tap on her shoulder. Rose came and sat in front of her. "Julia, you always read romantic books, right? So can you help me please?" She asked her showing puppy eyes. "What is it?" She asked her. "I want to know how can I express my feelings to Theo." She told her to which Julia smiled sheepishly. "Of course." 

Here on the other hand Theo was talking to Sky when Ray came to them. "You guys, what are you doing?" He asked them. "Nothing much." Theo replied. "I want you both to stay here till I come back." He said to both of them. "But why?" Sky asked him. "Just wait." Ray replied and ran from there.

After around ten minutes he came back there with the others. "I want to tell you guys something." He told them and showed them a notice. "We are going to visit an ancient castle. Isn't it exciting?!" He asked them. "Indeed it is!" Claire and Rose replied. "Royal castle means royal love stories. I am curious to know it." Julia said. 

"That fact we are not going to visit an ordinary castle but the most elegant and only castle left among the Five Great Nations of Royalty." Jasmine read the details written on that notice. "All of it must be so beautiful." Kylie and Melanie said while daydreaming. "I wonder how many precious and expensive things would be there." Lucy said while thinking hard. "It's not that much exciting." Jake rolled his eyes but regretted doing that when everyone glared at him.

"Looks like you are forgetting us." James and Kevin came there. "We are also a part of your squad." Kevin said to them and took that notice from Ray. "Interesting." James said.

"We all should go together then." Julia said and everyone looked at her as if she said something forbidden. "It would be rude if we leave both of them here alone." She said defending herself. "They both have each other." Sky said. "Yeah but still..." Julia looked down.

"I think it's not that bad." Jake said and everyone looked at him surprised. "Jake?! Are you sick?! Have you hit your head somewhere?!" Lucy asked him. "I just want to see how much this idiot knows about history." Jake said while rubbing the back of his head.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's just go a pack up for our trip." Claire said and they all bid their goodbyes.

While going back Claire was accompanied by Sky who was humming a song. "Your voice is beautiful." She said to him and he looked away while blushing. "T-thanks" He said and she smiled in return.

They were walking when they saw a beautiful flower garden. There were flowers of different kinds but the ones that caught their eyes were the lavender tulips. Claire looked at them in awe when suddenly something flashed in her mind.

"Tulips are the flowers that represent perfection and royalty. You have both these qualities so that's why I thought why not gift some of them to you."

She shook her head and blinked her eyes a few times. "I guess I am having a mental illness right now." She thought to herself and started walking. "Hey! Wait for me!" Sky yelled from behind.

"Is this just my imagination?" That question was lingering all around her mind.
