Chapter - 64

*A few weeks later*

They were now back from that trip and it is now getting all normal among all of them. Their classes were over long ago and it was evening, so Jasmine decided to go meet up with Max. She was on her way when she saw Melanie and Lucy coming towards her from the other side of the road. They came to her and greeted her. "Where were you guys?" Jasmine asked them. "We went shopping for the new semester and the upcoming prom." Lucy replied to her and Jasmine looked confused.

She looked all around in confusion. "What happened?" Lucy asked her. "You went shopping, then where is your stuff? You guys are not holding anything." She said and Lucy pointed behind her. Jasmine looked there and saw Kevin with his hands in his pockets who was walking calmly while whistling. He looked at Jasmine and waved at her. Jasmine then looked further behind him only to see Ray holding more than six shopping bags all on his own. 

Her eyes widened and she rushed there to help him. He was barely able to walk and was about to pass out. She took a few bags from him. "Thanks, Jasmine." He thanked her and smiled at her. "You do not need to do this." Kevin said to her. "It is his punishment for clicking those pictures of me and Jake." He completed his sentence. Jasmine came to him and handed him those few bags. "Enough of your jokes. Now help him." She said and went from there as she was getting late.

She reached the cafe where she and Max decided to meet. She went inside and sat on an empty seat, waiting for him to come. After a few minutes, he reached there. He came and sat in front of her and gave her a book. "The book you asked for." He said and then ordered some snacks for both of them. He was caught off guard when he felt Jasmine holding his hand. He looked at her only to see her looking down with a slight smile on her face.

She tightened her grip on his hand which made him blush a little. "Max...can we hang out like this...often?" She asked him and finally looked up at him with her bright red cheeks. Max's heartbeat stopped for a second and he slowly nodded at her. "Are you...asking me out?" He asked her and she smiled at him. "You can say so."

Julia was in the library, arranging the bookshelf. She was standing on the ladder and a book fell from her hand. She was about to get down to pick it up when she saw Jake holding it up for her. She took that book from him and kept it on the shelf. "I need to talk to you." He said to her and she came down from that ladder. She looked at him, waiting for him to talk. "I am sorry." He said making her eyes go wide. 

"Wow! The great Jake is apologizing to a nerd like me!" She exclaimed. "I'm serious." He said to her. "OMG! He is serious!" She looked around as if someone was watching her. She flinched when Jake suddenly pinned her against that bookshelf. His face was very close to her making her breath stuck in her throat. "I said I am seriously apologizing for behaving rudely to you." He said and left her. 

"I never meant anything that I said. I might come off harsh with my words but I do not mean them, at least when it comes to you." He said and looked directly into her eyes. "Why?" She asked him. "Because I like you, even before going to that castle I've liked you." He confessed to her and she let out a little laugh. "What's so funny?!" He snapped at her. "You look cute when you're flustered." She teased him and he again pinned her to the shelf and kissed her.

He backed away and saw that her face was all red. "Who's the flustered one now..." He smirked and grabbed a book from that shelf. He winked at her and went from there, leaving her standing there with a red face and uneven breaths.

Rose was still at their school campus and was in the class arranging some files. She secretly kept a letter on Theo's desk which she wrote by taking Julia's help. She was waiting for him to pick up that letter and read it. He was also arranging some other files in that same classroom when his eyes fell on that letter. He went to it and opened it to read it. Rose held her breath in anticipation.

He read her confession and smiled widely. He looked at her and came towards her. She was just standing there not even blinking her eyes. He came to her and hugged her. "I'm glad you feel the same way I do. I'm glad that my feelings are not only mine but yours too." He tightened his grip around her and she also hugged him with a wide smile on her face. "Does that mean, Princess Rose has officially got her Prince Theo?" She asked him and he nodded at her.

He caressed her cheek with one hand while holding her hand from the other. "I promise that this time I will not go anywhere. I will never break this promise...never." He said to her and she hugged him again. 

Claire was also still at school. She was in the painting room making some paintings. Her hairs were tied up and the window was open making her face shine brightly. She was busy painting when she felt someone behind her and spoke up. "Planning to steal it again?" She asked and looked behind to see Sky standing there. "Do I look like a thief to you?" He asked her back. "Do not try to change the topic. I know you came here to steal it." She said and got up from her seat. "Fine! You got me." He sighed and looked down.

He felt wet on his cheek and looked up to see Claire drawing with her brush on his cheek. "What are you doing?!" He was about to step back but she held him in place. "Just wait a little." She said and put that brush down. She smiled and pressed his cheek against her own. He was caught off guard by her action. She was holding him tightly, pressing her face against his. 

She took out her phone and clicked a selfie of both of them and then showed it to him. He saw that she drew a red-colored half-heart on his cheek and the other half was on her cheek. "How's it?" She asked him. "Beautiful." He replied to her. He held both her hands and made her look at him. "Claire...do you..." "I like you, I do." She replied to him even before he could complete his sentence. Sky brought his hand near her face and pulled her closer into a kiss. Claire kissed him back, wrapping her hands around his shoulders.

Kylie was in the public park, sitting on a bench with her AirPods plugged in her ear, listening to music. Her eyes were closed and she was just relaxing in the calm weather. She felt someone sit beside her and opened her eyes to see James sitting beside her. He did not say anything and just kept sitting there. He then saw her holding out one of her AirPods to him. He took that from her and plugged it into his ears and he was shocked to hear the music she was listening to. 

"You also listen to classical music?" He asked her and she nodded at him. "Yes, it helps me to relax." She told him and he smiled a little. They both were sitting there silently, just enjoying each other's company when they heard a commotion. They looked to the other side and saw Kevin sitting on one of the benches and Melanie and Lucy posing near the sunset. They both then saw Ray clicking pictures of them from different angles. 

"I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE!!!" Ray yelled in frustration as he had already clicked more than a hundred pictures of them and they wanted more. "Just enjoy your punishment, dear Prince." Kevin said to him and Ray lay down on the ground. Kylie sighed and looked away from them. "I am tired of them now." She said and James let out a little chuckle. He then felt her resting her head on his shoulder. He looked to his side and saw her sleeping. "Such a sleepy-head." He shook his head lightly and wrapped one hand around her to prevent her from falling.

"No matter what happens...I never want us to change. All of us...are perfect for each other just the way we are..."
