This was enough to shake the ground below their feet. They all just stood there with wide eyes. None of them was able to utter a single word. "T-this isn't possible! How could she do that?!" Claire was loosing her mind. It was as if someone has thrown a huge boulder on her head and her head was blasting with this shocking news.
They all knew that now, when all those three kingdoms are combined, they have become the greatest kingdom, both by land and resources. The loss which Sinsila suffered when they lost that town to Melanie will now be recovered in an instant and all the lack of weapons, manpower and everything else will be restored in no time which meant that they all are now in huge danger, their kingdoms are now in huge danger.
"We have to think of something! We cannot just sit here like this while doing nothing! Kevin can announce war at any time now! We have already lost so many of our people and our family members! We do not want to loose more of them!" Ray said to them and Sky immediately nodded. "We just have to wait for Kylie to wake up, then we can proceed with the preparations. We have to know what exactly happened there and why was she so much injured." Sky said to him and everyone else agreed as well.
A few hours later, Kylie opened her eyes and sat up while wincing in pain. "Are you ok?" She heard someone speak to her and turned around. "Princess Julia?" She was surprised to see her. Suddenly her head started paining and she grabbed her head tightly with her hands. Julia got worried for her and once again called the medic.
"Why can't I remember anything?" Kylie said to herself. She was just having some blurred flashbacks of what happened but still she was not able to clearly figure out what was going on. "Don't worry, rest for a while and then call me when you feel ok." Julia said to her and went from there.
"What did she say?" Ray asked her just as she came out. "She still needs to rest a little, her condition is serious." She said to him. "Is she that much injured?" Ray also got a bit worried. "No, I don't think it's because of the physical injuries." Julia replied with a straight face. "Then?" Ray was confused at her words. "Her face clearly showed only one emotion." Julia said and looked down. "It was the pain of...facing a betrayal." She said and exhaled heavily.
"Now when I clearly think of it, she was the one who stayed with Lucy the whole time even more than me. Although Lucy was my sister, Kylie was the one who was more attached to her. She must have seen something which I didn't and it must have hurt her way more than what it did to me." Ray said to Julia and went from there as well.
"Princess, Kylie is calling you inside." A maid came to her and Julia nodded at her, going in once again. "Are you ready to tell us what happened? Julia asked her and Kylie nodded.
FLASHBACK
Kylie was sitting under a tree in the garden while polishing her blades when she heard something breaking inside the castle. She got up and quickly ran inside to see what happened. She came inside and saw Lucy having blood splattered on her face and Kevin standing right beside her while holding a bloody sword. "Princess?" She was confused on that scene but then she felt something wet near her feet so she looked down and saw blood.
She got scared when she saw the King's dead body laying on the ground. She jumped a few steps backward with wide eyes. Her mind was not able to process that whole scenario. "Guards!" Lucy called and a few guards came inside. All of them were shocked to see that scene in front of them. "Take your precious king's body away from here and prepare his funeral." Lucy ordered them in a monotone with no emotions on her face.
The guards looked down and blindly followed her orders. They dragged that body away and the maids began cleaning all that blood. Lucy also wiped her face with the sleeve of her dress and looked at Kylie. "So? You want something?" She asked her but Kylie was so shocked that she was not able to utter a single word. Her eyes shifted from Lucy to Kevin who was standing beside her while holding Lucy's hand. He seemed to be satisfied with what happened there.
Kylie managed to gather some courage and speak up. "Why did you do this, princess?" She asked her with a slightly shocked voice. "It's Queen from now on!" Lucy said to her and sat on the throne with the crown on her head. "And for the answer to your question, I did that for only one reason...I wanted this throne so I had eliminate him." She said in a evil voice which made Kylie think for her life all over again.
"What you did is wrong!" Kylie raised her voice. She was feeling scared but at that moment she could not think properly at all. "Voice low!" Lucy yelled back. "Why did you even do this?! You are not the Princess Lucy I know! Why?! What made you go down this road?!" Kylie yelled with tears forming in her eyes. "Don't you think you are crossing your limits a bit too much?" Kevin stepped forward towards her. Kylie took a few steps back but she bumped into a few guards from Sinsila behind her.
"You have no rights to talk to 'my Queen' like that." Kevin said to her. "Your Queen?" By the time Kylie could process those words, all those guards attacked her at once not giving her any time to protect herself. She tried her best to escape but that only resulted in her getting more injuries.
After struggling a lot, she finally managed to reach her horse. She got on its back and made her way towards Andria as it was the nearest kingdom. "Does that mean...princess Lucy has betrayed us?" She was thinking to herself. Kevin holding her hand, supporting her and calling her his queen...all those things were roaming in her head and she was not able to concentrate at all.
She saw Andria's castle approaching but just as she tried to increase her horse's speed, her horse started to slow down. She realized that her horse did not eat anything for very long so she got off it and started to run away on her own. She was running when a guard shot an arrow on her leg making her fall down and roll down the small cliff near the castle garden of Andria. She stumbled down and fell into some bushes in the castle garden and lost her consciousness.

"That's all that happened." She looked at Julia was also very shocked on hearing that all of that. "But I did not see Kevin when I went there." Ray also came inside that room. "I heard his guards saying that they will leave early and maybe by the time you reached there, they must have already left." Kylie said to him and he nodded at her.
"I can't believe she could do this!" Kylie fisted her hands and gripped the blanket, which was covering her very tightly. "She...was not at all like the princess Lucy I know!" She said and tears started to form in her eyes. "How could she do that!" She was at the verge of breaking down but she contained herself. Claire and Sky also came inside and listened to her story. Kylie looked at Claire with a little hope in her eyes.
"Queen, I want to know the truth. I want to know what exactly happened. I want to know it all. I want to know the reason for which my princess betrayed my trust."
