The news of Melanie's death spread quickly like a wildfire. Everyone was once again gathered in the castle of Callios to give their blessings to the late queen. Everyone was struck badly by this especially Ray. All of them were standing around her grave crying about her demise. "Why did it had to end like this?!" Claire cried out while kneeling down beside her grave. "WHY?!"

She was still not over her father's death and now in just another moment she lost her friend too. Sky knelt beside her as well to give her comfort but it was of no use.

"Nice to meet you, princess Melanie."
"Nice to meet you again."

She cried remembering their first meet.

"I'm sorry, princess Claire. I am sorry."
"Why are you saying sorry?"
"I am the one who did all of this. I am the reason why you are here."

"I promise that I will get you out of here."
"I believe in you."

"You fulfilled your promise, Queen." She said and looked at the bandage which she tied her.

"This suits you a lot."
"This suits you the most."

"Those tiaras were beautiful." She smiled sadly while tears flowed from her eyes. She was breaking down at that moment. Lucy looked away from her as she herself was not able to control herself and broke down as well.

"Looks like we have to prepare for another wedding soon."

Lucy began crying after remembering how Melanie and her brother used to love each other and stayed happy around each other. She looked up with her tears and saw Ray sitting away from everyone under a tree looking at some fallen leaves.

"Would you be my dance partner?"
"I saw you staring at me earlier."
"You're cute."
"And you're gorgeous."

"You were always gorgeous." Ray smiled remembering how they both first met at Rose and Theo's wedding ceremony.

"Don't be so over conscious, it's fine. Consider me as your friend."
"I want to know you better, Prince Ray."

"I always considered you as my best friend, Melanie." A tear slipped down his face remembering their first ever proper conversation.

"You look really happy."
"I don't know but I guess I like your company."
"Then let's be friends."

"Let's be friends forever." He said and looked up to the sky.

"This is my father's ring who is no longer with me now. Since my childhood I wanted to give this to someone with whom I find comfort. The person whom I can call my home."
"Then why are you giving me this?"
"It's because I want to solve all those equations along with you. I love you Prince Ray."
"If that's the case, then I will be glad to help you with that. I love you too, Princess Melanie."

He looked down at the ring in his hand and smiled sadly remembering the day he confessed his feelings to her.

"Falling for you was the biggest mistake which I ever did."

"NO! saying this to you was my biggest mistake." He broke down and looked at his soon-to-be wedding ring. The wedding which never happened. "I am sorry for not trusting you, for not reaching to you in time. I am sorry." He looked down with tears continuously streaming down his face.

He looked to where everyone was standing and saw that everyone is already gone after putting some flowers around her grave. He weakly got up and went near her. He sat down beside her. He took her crown and put that on the top of her grave along with her bow and arrow and flute. "Will you ever forgive me?" He began talking to her grave. He took out a necklace from the back of his coat pocket.

"I wanted to give this to you as our wedding present but sadly that day never came." He said and wrapped that necklace around her grave. "I hope you like it." He said and began crying loudly. "I am sorry, please forgive me, love." He was not able to breath because of his tears. Her smiling face came in front of his eyes making him cry even more. "Even if you forgive me, I will never be able to forgive myself for saying all those words to you. I should have died as well." He closed his eyes and leaned his head along her grave looking again at those fallen leaves.

"I will never forget that autumn, it was the best autumn of my life."

Lucy, who was looking at him the whole time broke down as well and just wanted to go comfort him but she knew that he needed some time alone. She just turned around with those tears and went away from there.

Two hours later, Ray also came back inside with red eyes and dried lips. His body was looking lifeless. Lucy's heart broke down on seeing her brother like this. He was looking like a walking corpse. She went to him and made him sit on the dining chair. She forwarded some food to him. "Please, eat something." She said to him.

"I do not have a appetite." He said to her and looked the other way. "Just eat a little, for Melanie." She said to him making him look back at her. He unwillingly opened his mouth and she fed him. They both were trying hard to control their tears. After Lucy was done feeding him, she turned back to put that plate down. She felt someone hugging her from behind.

She turned around and saw Ray hugging her tightly and crying on her shoulder. "Why, why did this happen?" He broke down once again. Lucy gently stoked his back calming him down. "Shh, don't worry. She is in a better place now. She is with her parents now." She said to him and he just cried silently.

A few days later

Callios was now officially made a part of Sophiesia along with that town of Sinsila. Along with that a lot of new things took place in these few days. Julia began living in Sophiesia, Claire was claimed as the queen of Andria. She did not want any big ceremony because of the recent events so only the officials of Andria completed her coronation ceremony.

The former king and queen of Philaria were preparing to go to a foreign land to sort out some trade issues along with Jasmine. They all were preparing to get on the ship. Sky and Theo came there to bid them goodbye.

"Please take care of yourself." Theo said to his parents and hugged them both. "We will, take care of the kingdom as well." His father said to him. "Take care of Rose and our grandchild as well." His mother said to him and hugged him again. He smiled at them and turned to Jasmine.

She hugged him and he hugged her back. "Take care." He said to her. "You too." She replied to him and went to Sky who was looking down the whole time. She hugged him and he hugged her back. She heard his soft sniffles and looked at him. "Hey, don't cry." She said and wiped his tears. "Take care, Jasmine." He said to her and hugged her again.

"I will, don't worry." She said to him and pulled out from the hug. Sky felt someone tap his shoulder and saw his father. He opened his arms for his son to hug him and Sky hugged him as well. The former king was taken aback by this and was overwhelmed by emotion. After years he finally felt his son's warmth once again.

"Take care, father." Sky said to him and his heart melted on hearing Sky calling him father. He remembered those old days when Sky was a child and always used to stick around him. He gently stroked his hair. "Take care of yourself too." He said to him and gently kissed his forehead with tears in his eyes.

All three of them got on the ship and it began sailing. Both Sky and Theo were waving at them seeing them go away with a heavy heart. They both were having a feeling that something was not right but they decided to shrug away this feeling.

"Please come back safely."
