Claire was sitting in her room brushing her hair when she heard the loud drums beat. She went to the balcony and saw a royal carriage entering inside. She then saw Jasmine getting off the carriage. She went down to the main hall to greet her. "Welcome to Andria, princess Jasmine." She bowed to her and led her inside.
"Congratulations Claire!" She said to her while the guards brought inside a lot of gifts. "I'm really sorry, mother and father were not able to come today as well as Theo and Rose. Sky insisted to come but I told him not to." Jasmine said to her while Claire nodded with a sad face. "It's fine, they must be busy." She said to her and took her along with herself.
"Father, why did you not go to Andria today? I don't see you being busy at all!" Sky asked his father who was sitting in the library reading a book. "I told him not to." The former queen spoke from behind. "But why?" Sky asked her. "The coronation ceremony just took place, he needs some rest and we also need to keep an eye on the preparations being made here." She replied to him.
"I get it. You did not want to go because I am not your own son. I know you will never accept Claire as a part of this family but at least you could have completed the ritual." Sky said and went from there with his head hung low. "I do hate you and that Claire." She mumbled under her breath and continued to do her work.
Here Claire and Melanie were sitting in the garden away from the flowers, talking about some random things. "Do you believe in destiny?" Claire asked her. Jasmine thought for a while. "Why don't you tell me how you feel about it." She said to Claire.
"We all are bounded by our fate and this is our destiny."
Claire said and Jasmine looked at her.
"I also do believe in destiny but the difference is that I believe it only exists in stories."
Jasmine replied to her and they both looked at the blue sky filled with clouds. "Then do you think we will be able to meet again in our next life?" Jasmine asked her. "If our destiny gives us another chance, then we will definitely meet again." Claire replied to her with a little smile. "If what you said is true, then I wish to have you, Sky, Theo, and Rose to be by my side in that life too." Jasmine said while closing her eyes. "I too wish the same." Claire said and they both sat there for a while, enjoying with each other.
The wedding preparations soon began in both the Kingdoms. "Put these decorations over there." Rose was guiding the maids who were currently decorating the main hall of the castle of Philaria. "You should not overwork yourself, Queen." Theo said in a teasing voice and came there and stood behind her. "I'm very sorry but it's my sister's wedding so I'll do overwork myself, King." Rose played along.
"Then I must give you the orders to not do so." He said and leaned in a little. "You can do whatever you want, your highness." Rose smiled at him and went to look at the other maids. "Sky, come with me!" He called out Sky who was just passing by. "Do you need something, brother?" He asked him. "No, actually I selected a few suits for you and I want you to try them on." Theo said to him and they both went from there.
Theo's mother was watching everything that was happening there. She was pretending to be happy the whole time but in reality she was very angry. Angry for the reason that Sky's marriage preparations are even more luxurious than Theo. In the back of her head she had a thought to somehow make Theo and Sky fight with each other. She did not want Theo to be with Sky even for a minute as she feared that Sky might try to come for the throne.
But on the other hand, Sky's father was very happy for his son. Currently he was sitting in his room looking at a picture in which him, Sky and his mother were smiling widely. "I wish you were still here with us." He said as he traced her picture. "Our son has finally grown up, he is getting married." He started talking with her picture.
"The princess which he selected to be our daughter-in-law is just like how you wanted her to be. She is brave, kind, talented and mostly, she loves our son truly. I will make sure to treat her just like how you wanted. I know I have failed my duty as a father but I will try to correct my mistake. Please always keep an eye on both of them." He said as few tears slipped from his eyes remembering his late wife.
"This looks perfect!" Theo said to Sky who just wore a new suit. "It indeed is perfect!" Sky said while looking at himself in the mirror. Theo came near him and hugged him tightly. "I might not have been there for you when you needed me but I promise to always keep you and Claire happy no matter what." He said to him and Sky hugged him back. "No, you were there for me when I needed you the most, to me you are not just my brother but my father too." Sky said to him as they both hugged each other finally feeling as if everything was alright.
"Princess Jasmine, what about this dress?" Claire asked Jasmine who was sitting near the window reading a book. "This is so gorgeous!" She got up from her seat and came to her. "This is absolutely perfect!" She said to her with a bright face and they both smiled at each other. "May god protect from all the evil eyes." Jasmine said to her and they both then went to select the accessories.
They both were looking around to match the perfect pair of jewelry with Claire's wedding dress when they heard the beating of loud drums. "Who could it be?" Jasmine questioned her but Claire just shrugged her shoulders. They both went to the main hall to see who has arrived. They both reached there and saw Melanie standing there with a lot of gifts.
"Princess Melanie?" Claire went to her and Melanie hugged her. "Congratulations, princess Claire!" She said to her while Claire was still confused on her sudden visit. Melanie pulled out from that hug and looked at her. "You must be wondering why I am here so suddenly, well actually I thought that you might need some help as you are alone and Queen Rose can't come here either. I just wanted you to not feel alone, but I did not expect Princess Jasmine to be here too." She said to her and then went to Jasmine.
She bowed at her. "Greetings, princess Jasmine." She said to her and Jasmine also bowed at her. She then turned to Claire. "Have you selected the dress for yourself?" Melanie asked her. "Yes, we were just looking for matching accessories." Claire replied to her. "Ok then, let me help you." Melanie said and all three of them went from there.
Lucy was sitting in her room watching Kylie practicing outside in the garden. "I wish I could go to Claire, I really want to help her." She sighed and leaned against the window. "I really despise her. She is bold and can speak for herself and also for her loved ones while I cannot even look back in the eye of that person. How are you so much brave Claire?" She questioned herself as she continued to look out of the window.
"I guess, I should just go and select an outfit for myself too." Lucy went to her huge wardrobe and began shuffling through all those heavy gowns to find the one for herself. Finally, after all that hustle she found the dress which perfectly suited her. She smiled and took it out. "I am done now." She said and went outside.
Claire was finally done after choosing her dress and jewelry. She was sitting near the window, looking at the moon while nervousness took over her. "What's the matter?" Jasmine came there. "I am nervous." She said while keeping her hand on the railing. "No need to be nervous Claire, everything is going to be fine. Don't worry, besides you already know all of us. You will not face any problems in your new family, I promise to take care of you." Jasmine said and gently kept her hand on Claire's shoulder.
"I know all of that, but the thing which is getting on my nerves is Prince Kevin. He can and will do each and everything he can to take his revenge. I trust my people and their abilities but the amount of damage of life and resources that will be caused due to all of that will be just beyond our thinking, I do not want that to happen at any cost." Claire said and looked down.
"In that case, do not worry at all. I trust you, you will never let that happen."
