Rose was wandering all around in worry, she did not know anything about what could have happened. She was worrying about Claire, Theo and Sky too. She was just thinking about how Sky would have felt in this situation. She was very tensed and was just roaming here and there mindlessly. Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around. "Princess Jasmine?" She was confused to see her here.
"Theo sent me here too as he was worried about you." She said to her and made her sit on the bed. She gently held her hand. "Do not worry, Claire will be fine." Jasmine said to her but Rose was not convinced at all. "See, if you stress yourself this much then it will affect the life of your child too. You have to think about him too." Jasmine said to her and Rose nodded. They both were sitting there when Rose saw a messenger pigeon. Rose went to it and immediately recognized the handwriting. "It's from Jake!" She read a small note attached to it.
"Queen, please send this message to Andria as soon as possible."
That night passed by and morning was already here. Claire opened her eyes and found herself locked up. She tried to stand up but noticed that her whole body was tied with chains. Her hairs were messy and her clothes were rugged. She felt a stinging pain in the back of her head but chose to ignore it. Soon she realized that she was locked up in a dungeon. "Where exactly am I?" She tried to look here and there to find any slightest clue.
"Why can't I remember anything?" She groaned in annoyance trying to remember what happened but was eventually failing. "Sky...." She remembered him and the fact that it was their wedding. "What could have happened? How is he? Is he safe?" She began questioning herself.
Just then she saw a reflection on the ground which was made by the sunlight coming from the small window present at the top right corner of that place. She then noticed that the reflection was being made by the hair accessory which Sky gifted her. "I have to get out of here." She tired to wiggle all around but those chains won't let her move even an inch.
Here, Sky and all the others were again about to set out to find Claire. They all were ready to leave when one of the guard came inside with a notice. It was the special guard of Philaria who used the fastest horse from Philaria to come there. He then handed that note to Theo who immediately opened it.
Your majesty, this is my notice to you. Last night I followed the traces from princess's room which lead to the deep forest of Andria which connects both Callios and Andria. My suspicion was increasing so I decided to infiltrate Callios. There I found one of princess's earrings and now my suspicion is clear. Princess Claire is here in Callios and I need you to come here as early as you can.

They all got very confused on hearing the name Callios but decided to go there. They all got on their horses and rushed out from there. Ray's heart was beating extremely loud and he was getting very nervous. The only thought which was roaming in his mind was, "Did Melanie do it?" He did not want to believe this at all. She was the one whom he trusted to most. Despite of this, something in his gut feeling told him to believe those words.
Soon they all reached Callios and Ray was the first one to enter inside the castle. The loud drums started beating and Melanie came in the main hall. She saw Ray and the others coming inside. She had absolutely no emotions on her face and she just stood there.
Ray came to her and grabbed her arm. "Melanie, where is Claire?" He asked her but she remained silent. "Please tell me that my gut feeling is wrong. Please tell me that you did not do it. Please tell me that I wrong." He pleaded her. "You are right." She said making him leave her hand. "W-what?" His face lost all its colors. "T-this can't be true, you must be joking." He said with a little laugh.
"I am telling the truth, I am the one who abducted princess Claire and she is in my dungeon." She said making everyone shocked. "WHY?!" Sky asked her. "I do not have personal grudges towards her but something in me made me do that. I do not know why but this seemed really fun." She said with a slight smirk on her face. "You cannot do that!" Sky yelled at her. "Voice low!" She yelled back.
"This is not Philaria, this is Callios. The kingdom ruled by my mother, so keep your voice low, Prince." She said and glared at him. "Do you know the consequences of your deed?" Theo asked her. "I know them very well." She said with a poker face.
Ray was not able to process anything which was happening around him. He could not believe that the person whom he loved could do such a thing to his bestfriend. He just silently looked at her. Tears were building in his eyes as he felt betrayed. He felt as if someone was stabbing his heart a hundred times at once. Never ever in his life he thought that he would get betrayed by her. He looked at her blankly. She was nothing like the Melanie he loved.
That girl used to be calm but she was burning with rage, that girl used to be gentle towards everyone but she was being the most brutal person right now, that girl used to look at him with love in her eyes but she was just looking at him blankly. Nothing. He felt nothing but an urge to destroy everything building up inside him. He did not know what to do when he heard a voice in his head.
"Do what you feel is right, listen to your heart, do not betray your true feelings."
He heard Claire's voice. He kept a hand on his heart. "I love you princess Melanie but as a prince and as a warrior, I have to side with justice." He said to himself and made up his mind. He went closer to her and grabbed her by her wrist.
"Where is Princess Claire?" He asked her again but his time his tone was harsh. "I have already told you." Melanie said to him. "If you lay a single finger on her, I swear I will destroy you." He gritted his teeth.
"Just get over with it, there is nothing you can do about it anyways."
She said with the coldest tone ever possible breaking Ray's heart into millions of pieces. He never imagined her to talk to him in this way but he soon realized that what he needed to do right now was to protect Claire at any cost.
"Release her right now!" He ordered her. "I am the one who can give orders here, not you." She said and ordered the guards to come there and throw all three of them our of there. "You cannot do this, princess." Jake came there as well. "Take him out too." She ordered and a lot of guards came there. They all captured all four of them but no one moved even a little bit. They all did not even try to escape and just went along because this news was itself very shocking for them all.
As those guards were taking them outside, Ray turned around for the last time and looked directly into Melanie's cold eyes. "Falling for you was the biggest mistake which I ever did." He said and went along with the guards. Melanie turned around to leave as well but then she heard footsteps approaching her.
"Well done, princess!"
