Claire looked up from that flower and in an instant she saw someone getting thrown away. She looked at the person with wide eyes and saw Sky glaring at the unknown man. He took out his sword and went near him. He put his sword on his neck. "Tell me why were you following me?" He asked that man.

But getting no reply he dug that sword deeper making a cut. "Tell me!" He growled at him. "I was ordered to do so." He said. "If you were ordered to follow me then why were you roaming around princess?!" He yelled at him with anger clearly visible in his eyes. He gave no reply and soon blood started dripping from his neck as Sky dug that sword even deeper.

"Who sent you? Answer me!!" Sky asked him. Seeing him so angry that man became scared for his life and gulped. "Prince Kevin." He replied making both Sky and Claire shocked. He got up to run away but before he could, Sky swung his sword and chopped his head off. Claire gasped at that scene. She covered her mouth with her hands as she saw his lifeless body fall on the ground.

Sky turned to Claire and his eyes immediately softened. He went near her and held her hand to make her stand back up. "Are you ok, princess?" He asked her. She just nodded at him while still staring at that dead man. Sky called his guards and told them to take care of it.

He then noticed her tear stained face and gently cupped her cheeks. "Are you really ok?" He asked her. At the touch of his hand, a sudden rush flowed into her body and she calmed down from the earlier shock. The moonlight was the only source of brightness in that area which made their eyes glow as they stared at each other.

Claire nodded at him and they both started to go back inside. "May I ask why were you crying?" He asked her. "I just remembered my old friend." Claire replied. "Where is she now?" He asked her. "She was taken to Sinsila but I do not know if she is still alive or not." She said while controlling her tears. "Me, her and Ray used to be bestfriends." She said.

"Don't worry, if your heart believes that she is still alive then she is. Our instincts are usually right, especially for those whom we have a special bond with." Sky said to her and she nodded at him. "Thank you so much, Prince Sky." Claire said to him. "Mention not." He smiled at her and she did the same.

The next morning, everyone decided to once again go to the streets. They all were enjoying each other's company a lot.

"Prince Ray, can you please come with me?" Melanie asked him. "Yeah sure." He said and they both went somewhere. After talking to her yesterday, Ray stopped stuttering around her like before. Although he gets nervous around her, he still manages to keep his head up.

On the other hand Claire took Sky with her. "You said that you do not know anything about Andria. So let me tell you about it." She said to him and took him to a dessert store.

Jake followed them from behind while Lucy's eyes followed him. She was so into staring at him that she did not realize that she was standing in the middle of the road. Jake saw a wagon full of charcoal coming towards her so he instantly jumped in front of her.

He held that wagon before it could hit her. Her eyes went wide and she breathed heavily. This sudden action shocked her. She looked at Jake's back and realized that he is the one who protected her once again.

Jake dragged that wagon aside and went to the owner. He saw that he was an old man with a fragile body. "Why are you doing such a work which requires physical strength when you clearly lack that?" He gently asked that man while forwarding his hand to support him.

"My son usually does this work but he isn't well." That old man said while tears started to build up in his eyes. "Don't worry uncle, from now on you can call me for help whenever you want." Jake said to him and made him sit somewhere comfortable. He gave him some water and smiled at him.

Lucy was looking at him all the time. Seeing him this kind with elders, her heart melted. She smiled at him as a felling of warmth filled inside her heart. She then saw Jake approaching her. "Are you alright, princess?" He asked her and she nodded.

He then turned to Kylie and looked at her with rage. "If you cannot do your job properly then why are you here?!" He yelled at her. She flinched and just then he noticed her bandaged arm. "What's that?" He asked her.

Getting no reply from her, he grabbed her hand and she immediately drew it back. "I broke it while training." She replied while looking down. "I'm sorry I didn't know." Jake apologized. "I forgive you for now but remember one thing. Do not speak harsh words for anyone before knowing the truth about their agony." She said to him and walked to the side.

He felt guilty for what he did but having no other option he went to find Claire and Sky. He saw both of them sitting inside a dessert shop so he stopped at a distance and sat below the withered tree.

"This the most famous and also the traditional sweet of Andria." Claire said and forwarded him a pink dumpling like thing with a little almond on the top. He took a bite of it and felt as if he ascended to another dimension. "It is so tasty!" His eyes sparkled with joy. "I'm glad you liked it." Claire smiled to him.

Sky picked up another piece and shoved it in her mouth. She got shocked at first but then started chewing it. "You should eat it too." He said while still being in his paradise. Claire chuckled seeing him like that. "He's cute." She thought to herself and smiled at him.

Here Melanie and Ray were sitting near the pond dipping their feet inside the cold yet calming water. The dried leaves from the tress were falling around them. A leaf came and fell on Ray's head which Melanie noticed and picked up.

"What are your thoughts about love?" She asked him taking him off guard. He thought for a while but no correct answer came in his mind. "Can't you answer that simple question? You are from the most intelligent Kingdom of all." She chuckled a bit.

"I can solve all those questions in seconds but love is far more complicated than mathematics." He replied and looked at her directly in the eyes.

Their heartbeats synced with each other and they felt their surroundings getting quite. Just then two leaves fell on their heads. They both broke the eye contact and looked at those leaves.

They weren't two different leaves but one leaf split into two. They again looked at each other but this time with a small smile on their faces.

"I agree. Love is complicated than mathematics. But unlike it, love does not have an exact answer. It sometimes feels that you have finally found an answer...." Melanie was cut off in between. "But then you realize that you have just solved the first equation of it." Ray said and she nodded at him.

"Exactly." She said and looked at the leaf in her hand. She looked at her own reflection in the pond water and saw herself smiling after decades. This thing only made her smile wider. Ray looked at her and then at the front.

"You look really happy." He said to her. "I don't know but I guess I like your company." She said to him. "Then let's be friends." He said to her and forwarded his hand. She gladly accepted it and once again smiled widely at him.

She let go of that leaf and Ray did the same. A gust of wind blew making those leaves fall into the water.

But there too they ended up laying next to each other and went with the flow of the river to the other shore.
