Walking in the hallway along with Ray, Claire saw some royal horses standing in the stable which were not theirs. She then went near the window and looked closely. Those horses had Sinsila's flag wrapped around them. "Looks like we have some special visitors." Ray said. "Very special ones." Claire said while her gaze was still focused on those horses.
Suddenly they both felt the presence of a third person and turned behind. "How are you, Princess?" Kevin bowed to her. "I was fine until now." She whispered but Ray heard it. "Do you need something?" He asked him. "I want to talk to princess for a while." He replied. Ray looked at Claire but she nodded at him and went with Kevin.
They both came in the royal garden. "What did you want to talk about?" She asked him. "Nothing much, I just wanted to get to know you before our wedding." He said. "Our wedding is not fixed yet." She said while looking the other way. "It's not like you are going to deny it." He said. "Maybe I can." Claire said and looked him directly in the eye.
"You'll regret your decision if you do so." He said while leaning towards her. "We'll see." She said leaning too. "I am the best prince you'll ever find. I am also the only heir to the throne of Sinsila." He said. "I do not care about power." Claire replied while fixing her hair. "I will protect you with my life. I will do anything and everything to protect you princess." He softly held her hand. "These sugar coated words won't work on me." She thought to herself.
After roaming outside for a while they both came inside and joined the others for lunch. Rose and Lucy also came there and sat down on their seats. Lucy saw prince Kevin staring at Claire and she smiled sheepishly at them. "Looks like we have another upcoming wedding too." She said while looking at Claire and Kevin. Claire clutched her hands which were on her lap into a tight fist and gritted her teeth. Ray noticed it and signaled her to calm down.
She took some deep breaths and got up from her seat. "I'm sorry but I have no appetite right now." She excused herself and went to her room. Ray knew that this whole thing is bothering her so he also finished his lunch quickly and went to her. He knocked on the door of her room and getting the permission he came inside.
He was holding a tray of food which he kept on the bed beside her. "I know you are hungry, eat something." He said and sat beside her. "I do not want to eat anything." She said and kept that tray away. Ray sighed and turned to her. "I know this whole situation is tough for you but you have to deal with it. I promise I will help you fix it all but you have to wait till Rose's wedding. We cannot do anything which will later prove to be bad for her special moment. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say." He said to her and she nodded. "I understand." She said and they both smiled at each other.
Here in Philaria, the royal family was having their lunch when the King spoke up. "I am planning to do Theo's coronation soon after his wedding." He said making both the princes shook. "I'm not ready for this father." Theo said. "You are ready for it son. You can handle this Kingdom very well." The king smiled at his son. "You can do it Brother." Sky said to him and patted his shoulder. "Yes you can." Jasmine also encouraged him. "We all believe in you." The queen also smiled at his elder son.
Seeing all of them care for him so much, Theo felt happy and emotional at the same time. He was feeling proud to be a part of the Royal family of Philaria.
On the other hand Sky, who was genuinely happy for his brother became jealous of all the love he was getting from the whole family. "What about Sky?" Theo asked his father. "He is still naive for anything." His father replied making Sky clutch the spoon he was holding. "Can't you give him any administrative position." Theo said back. "I am not going to change my decision." The king replied and continued to eat.
Sky was not able to handle all this so he left his food in the middle and went to his room. Jasmine noticed him and went behind him.
Just as he entered his room, he threw all the stuffs here and there in frustration. "WHY?! Why can't they praise me for even once?!!!" He threw the vase on the huge family portrait hanging on the wall. "Why always brother?!!" He sat down on the floor as tears started to form in his eyes. "What did I do wrong?" He asked himself and tears started to fall from his eyes.
"You did nothing wrong." Jasmine gently kept her hand on his shoulders. He turned to her and wiped his tears. "Then why do father and mother treat me like an outcast?" He asked her. "Maybe because they love you but are not able to express it." Jasmine sat beside him.
"Father have changed. Since mother left, he is not the same." Sky said with his head hung low. "I can understand mother's behavior towards me because I'm not her own son but why is father treating me like that?" Sky said and Jasmine held his hand.
"You are thinking too much Sky, don't stress yourself. Even if they do not treat you like you deserve, me and Theo will always be there for you." She said to him. He looked at her with teary eyes. "Nobody has ever noticed my efforts, my success, my abilities. They have only pointed out the mistakes in each and every step I take." He said and more tears fell from his eyes.
"I have noticed it all." She said making him look at her directly in the eyes. "I have always noticed how you used to stay up late at night practicing your skills only for father to acknowledge you too, how you used to get up early to be there for mother if she needed you. I noticed it all from the beginning." She said and Sky immediately hugged her.
"I do not hate brother for getting crowned as the future king, I am just sick of not being able to be at the same level as him." He said breaking the hug. "You do not have to be like him, you just have to be the best version of yourself." She said and he smiled at her. "I will do my best." He promised her. "I'm proud of you." She smiled and him and he did the same.
Hundreds of kilometers away, in the dark castle of Sinsila, the guards were guarding the room of the royal princess. Glass breaking sound was heard from the inside but no one dared to open the door. "Don't do this please!!" They heard the scream from inside but they did even cared to listen to it.
"Please don't!" Again a scream was heard but they did move even an inch. Suddenly, they heard footsteps and a knock on the door from the inside. They moved aside and prince Kevin walked out of that room leaving a maid covered in bruises.
The royal lady bent down at her level and immediately brought some ointment. "I'm sorry, it's all because of me. I shouldn't have done that." Tears started building up in her eyes seeing that maid in such a miserable state. "It's not your fault, princess." That maid weakly said to her.
"If you dare to talk bad about me to any person in the castle, they will end up in a much worse state." Kevin said while leaning at the door. "It was not her fault!" She yelled at him while tears streaming down her face. He harshly gabbed her chin and made her look at him directly in the eyes. "Do not dare to raise your voice at me." He pushed her away and went from there.
"Princess Julia, you do not have to fight with the prince for a low-class maid like me." That maid said and sat up. "You are my friend, Maria." She smiled at her and applied that ointment at her bruises. "I will try to tell all of his doings to father as soon as possible." She said while getting up from the floor.
"I will make everyone know the true side of their beloved sweet and charming prince."
