"Thank you! Have a good day!" The door to the café closed as the last customer exited. Being the polite person she was, Tzuyu had been sweeping around the woman's table for the past 10 minutes, trying to signal that they should have closed long ago. Dahyun just watched and shook her head, letting out a light laugh when the younger finally able to stop sweeping. She took her apron off and hung it up in the staff room. She stretched up, letting out a long sigh. Friday was always the busiest and it was no different even if it was pouring outside.

Dahyun walked to the café door, flipping the lock and sign, when she saw a girl running up with a bag held over her head in a poor attempt to shield her from the rain. The girl looked down at the flipped sign which read 'Closed' and groaned. Normally, Dahyun wouldn't have been so inclined to let a customer in, especially when they were closing 10 minutes later than usual. But, there was something telling her that this was what the girl needed to make her day better. She sighed and unlocked the door, opening it so she could come in.

"I'm so sorry. I know you're trying to close but I promised my friend I'd get her a..." The girl paused mid-sentence, pulling out a damp piece of paper out of her pocket. "...blueberry and raspberry muffin with the little stuff on top. I don't really know what it is. I understand if you can't do it though or don't have it and I can let you finish closing up." The girl gave Dahyun a sheepish smile, looking at her hopefully.

Dahyun just laughed and nodded. There was something about this girl that piqued her curiosity. Not only was she insanely beautiful, but Dahyun also found it admirable that she trudged through the rain just to get her friend a muffin. She went back behind the counter much to Tzuyu's chagrin and pulled a muffin out of the glass container, wrapping it in a bag. She walked back around and handed it to the girl. "It's on the house."

"Are you sure? I feel like I've already taken enough from you guys." The girl frowned as Dahyun politely shook her head. "I could at least give you my number. I'll buy you a coffee or something. Wait. No. That's stupid. You literally work at a café." Momo smacked her forehead and apologized again. Just as she was about to leave before she had another chance to embarrass herself, Dahyun stopped her.

"I'd love a coffee or something." Dahyun wrote her number down on one of the old meal order tickets she had in her pocket and handed it to the girl, waving as she quickly exited with her muffin and what looked like a bright red face.

The first time I saw you... I knew you were different.

Dates had never been Momo's thing. They were always awkward and she never felt like she or the other person she was with was having a good time. So why in the world did she offer to give her number to some random girl who owned a café? Maybe it was the overwhelming guilt and embarrassment she felt for running into the place after they closed, begging for a weird muffin. Or maybe it was because she had a huge crush the second she laid eyes on the owner. Whatever it was, she knew that she wasn't ready. Momo gave it a week before texting Dahyun. They ended up at some little fried chicken place, and as it turns out, dates are a lot easier when you actually like the person you're with. They ended up talking for three hours and when they got up to part ways, they already had another date set up. After four dates Momo, extremely nervously and practically drenched in sweat, asked Dahyun to be her girlfriend. When she said yes, Momo was sure she was going to pass out on the spot. Luckily, Dahyun was there to catch her just in case she did.

Three months later and Momo was in the process of moving in with Dahyun. She had been at her place almost every day for the past month so Dahyun popped the question, suggesting that it would be both cost and time efficient if Momo just moved in. Her place was bigger anyway and, as she joked, if they ever broke up Dahyun could just kick her out and keep her apartment. This got a playful eyeroll and a punch on the arm from the older girl, immediately followed by soft kisses.
