8. Pet Store Stop With Tzuyu

It was quiet in the car and only the sound of Frank Ocean could be heard over the speakers. You glanced to the passenger seat and saw Tuzyu fast asleep. You always wondered how she fell asleep so quickly. The car ride wasn't even that long but she was out the moment she put her seat belt on. Smiling you gently tap her shoulder, coaxing her out of her deep sleep.

"Ya. Jagiya. It's time to wake up. We're almost at the pet store. You hold her hand in your free hand and gently kiss it, laughing softly when her eyes flutter open.

"Oh? Was I asleep? Really?" Tzuyu looked around the car and saw the pet store ahead of them, a bit confused. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have fallen asleep. You must have been lonely." She looked up at you with puppy dog eyes, literally, and stuck her bottom lip out into a pout.

Pulling into the parking lot you just shook your head and turned to look at her. "Don't worry. I had Frank with me and watching you sleep was adorable." You got out of the car and walked over, opening her door for her.

As you walked into the store there was a large red neon sign that read, Paradise Pets, with a dog and a cat beside each other. In the store there were many tanks of fish and a few bird cages. The back was lined up with large crates so that the cats and kittens could lay out comfortably.

"Oh. Hello. My name is Park Yoo Seong. I am the owner of the shop. How may I help you sir?" The owner bowed politely and extended his hand for handshake and you did the same.

"Yes. Thank you. I'm here with my girlfriend to just look around at all of the animals you have. Since you are also sort of an animal shelter." You smiled and turned around to be face to face with a large and colorful bird. Tzuyu had already been wandering the store and was currently down by the dogs.

The owner just nodded and informed you about a few more things, pointing to the various animals in the store. Eventually you walked over to Tzuyu, bending down to look at all the dogs. There were many breeds in all different shapes and sizes.

"Jagiya?" She glanced at you and then back at the dogs. "What if we got a dog?" You just cleared your throat a little and got up, standing to face a kitten.

"Baby I don't think we'd be able to get a dog. Since our jobs are usually so demanding it's hard to take care of an animal. Remember the fish we had a few months ago?" You said this and Tzuyu blushed softly.

"YA! THE FISH! NEMO IS DEAD!" Tzuyu yelled this from your room and stood there, holding the bowl with the dead fish. You ran in and looked into the bowl seeing a floating fish.

"Oh geeze. I'm sorry baby. Did he try to flop out or something?" You took the bowl from her and poked the fish a little, hoping it was still alive. Tzuyu just shook her head and frowned, looking away at the fish.

"I-It. He just was there and I walked in and-and he was l-like this." Now in tears Tzuyu threw herself into your arms almost making you drop the bowl. You set it down and wrapped your arms around her, holding her tightly.

"Shh. It's okay. It's not your fault. We're just gone too much to have a pet. Will it make you feel better if we have a fish funeral for it?" You kissed her head softly and felt her nodding against your chest that was now stained with tears.

"Yeah but I can get someone to watch the puppy when we're gone. I promise I'll take care of it. You know how much I love dogs babe." She looked between you and the dogs, almost begging to get one. Instead of caving you walked around a little more.

"I'll think about it. Let me look around a bit more though." You walked around the store more, crouching down to see snakes and lizards. Eventually you got to a bright red and green chameleon and a few small turtles. Before going back to Tzuyu you looked around to find her still looking at all the dogs. You snuck around to the owner's counter and whispered to him. "Ahjussi. Do you have the thing?"

The old owner smiled and winked at you, going into the back and coming out with a fairly large box with holes poked in it. Since you'd noticed that Tzuyu had been stressed for a while you decided to surprise her with a special something.

"Ahjussi could you please hold it behind your counter and, when I say it's time to go, you bring it out and say wait you forgot this?" You smiled and looked at him hopefully before he nodded and stuck the box under the counter.

"Anything for such a nice gentleman." He laughed and watched you go to Tzuyu, motioning that it was time for you both to leave. She had the saddest look on her face that you felt your heart break. You never wanted her to feel sad like this ever again.

"Ahjussi thank you for all of your help!" You winked and waved to him, stepping one foot outside of the pet store. Before you could exit he came running around the counter carefully holding the box with the surprise.

"Wait young man! You forgot something!" He set the box down and waited for you and Tzuyu to come back over, stepping away a little bit.

"Ya Y/N. Did you get anything here?" Tzuyu looked at you a bit confused then looked back at the box, seeing the lid move a little bit.

"I may or may not have. Why don't you look inside to see what it is. I think I just saw the lid move." You tried to contain your happiness and waved her on, gently pushing her to open it up.

Tzuyu cautiously crouched down, slowly openibg the box. She opened it a crack and immediately gasped when she saw two brown eyes and a small black nose. She threw the lid and looked at the small puppy inside. Making a cute little noise she lifted the puppy out of the box, holding him in her arms.

"Ya! Jagiya! Is he mine?!" She asked you this and you just nodded, smiling widely. She kissed the puppy's head over and over again. "How did you know that I liked French Bulldogs?"

You walked over to the two and patted he dog's head gently. "You always talk about them when you're with the girls. You're always saying that they're the most beautiful dogs in the world." The last part made her glare at you a bit since you tried to do an impression of her voice.

"You're so mean to me... but I love him. I think I'll call him 구리 (Copper). He's so cute and squishy. Thank you so much! You're the best boyfriend ever Y/N!" Tzuyu held Copper in one hand and leaned in to hug you, kissing you softly. "This is the best day ever and now our home will be even more complete."

I really liked writing this one. It was such a cute idea and I love animals. Also, a big big thank you to hitmanXII125 for giving me the great suggestion. I can't wait for the next chapter because it's Christmas themed and the last member of twice I haven't written about. I will either post it tomorrow or Saturday. I love you all and thank you so much!
