38) "𝓘 𝓷𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓫𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴 𝓶𝔂 𝓹𝓻𝓸𝓶𝓲𝓼𝓮𝓼."

- Eddie POV- 7:50 pm

I watched as Ariel jumped off of Skull Rock, I stared as she fell and eventually hit the water, sinking into the lake. I then started to panic, what's faster? Jumping or running all the way down? Did she just drown? I had so many thoughts running through my head, I panicked and decided to jump off also. I threw our clothes off the edge before hand, watching them drop into the half dead grass.

I felt the cold water take over the humid feeling in the air as I felled through the water, I brought my head out from under water, and started rapidly looking around for Ariel. I felt a strong feeling of relief wash over me as I saw her head pop up from under water.

I quickly swam over to her, "Holy shit!" I called to her, grabbing her shoulders, " For a minute I thought you drowned." I buried my face in her neck a few seconds before deeply kissing her lips, she pulled away, " That was so fun, Ed!" She grinned, then I remembered what she did.

" Ariel!" I then shouted at her once again, "Why would you do that? You could've hurt yourself really bad! Don't fucking scare me like that!" I explained loudly to Ariel, a small laugh slipping my lips as she just smiled at me.

" I'm sorry, I didn't scare you that bad did I?" She asked, another giggle escaping her lips. "Not too bad, but I was worried that you passed out or some shit." I pulled away and caressed her face softly.

-Ariella POV-
" I don't know what I would do if I let anything happened to you, I would never forgive myself." Eddie told me, a goofy smile on his face, but there was evident seriousness behind his words. " What do you mean, ' you would never forgive yourself '? You didn't do anything." I stated, questioning a little farther.

" I promised I wouldn't let anything happen to you, I never break my promises." He then said in a flirtatious tone, his eyes looked back and forth at both of mine, "Especially ones I make with you, pretty girl." He said in a lower tone, continuing to flirt. He then leaned in closer to me and I smashed my lips onto his passionately, he shoved his tongue into my mouth and I replicated his action.

He hummed before pulling away, " Don't you ever do that shit again, Ariel." He started with another goofy smile, " Please, I love— I care about you a lot." He told me, his expression gaining full seriousness. He then kissed my forehead, grabbing my waist under water.

"Wait, what did you say, before you said you cared about me?" I asked, am I tweaking? Did he just say he loved me?

Eddie Munson loves me?

" I just told you not to do that again." His face turned pink in the glow of the moonlight, "Okay....I care about you too, Eds, a lot." I smiled at him, I saw him smirk before he splashed me right in the face with the lake water.

" Ed!" I shirked and he let out a laugh before doing it again, I splashed him back and we started playfully fighting. He grabbed my waist and threw me over his shoulder, my face slashing in the murky water. I playfully kicked him to get him to let me go, I then pushed down on his shoulders to make him sink down. It didn't work, he didn't budge a bit.

" You really thought, sweetheart." He said loudly in a joking tone, before taking me off his shoulder. He grabbed my waist with both hands and held me above him. I was surprised he was this strong, I knew he had strength, but not this much. He swam to the deeper end of the lake.

"Eddie, put me down—!" I demanded, attempting to kick him in the stomach and he just hugged my body close against his, I wrapped my arms around his neck, still scared he would drop me.

" Eddie, I swear if you drop me—" I tried to tell him and he shushed me, " Have I ever dropped you?" He said with a hint of sarcasm, " No, but  you want to." I replied. " Now that I think about it, I do want to. What would you do if I were to drop you right now?" He asked, " You wouldn't,-" I said, " That's exactly what I said to you, and... you did it, so it's only fair if I—" 

" No! Eds—!" I grabbed on him tighter, I then stopped kicking him, to avoid being pushing into the deep end of the lake. He chuckled at me, "I won't do that to you, you seriously thought I was gonna drop in the water?" His just absolutely gorgeous brown eyes looked into mine.

"You're so pretty." I whispered, I leaned to kiss his cheek, his face turned that same pastel pink from earlier, " You're so fuckin' beautiful." He whispered before kissing my neck. That feeling from earlier came back, this time becoming unexplainable. I want him, I need him. He continued kissing, licking over the hickey he had made earlier.

" Eddie—." I breathed out, " Do you like that, darling?" He whispered, moving his lips down my neck like he did previously.

" I- I know it's only been 2 days, but I want to do it again." I whispered, " Like have sex again?" He whispered cluelessly, " Eddie-, yes!" I replied. " Good, I wanna fuck you too. "He smiled again, that same look on his face that I could never get tired of.

" There's no one here..." He smirked, he quickly grabbed onto me again before getting out of the water with me in his arms. He sat me on his lap and before I could question, he kissed me deeply, shoving his tongue into my mouth.

He begun to kiss me aggressively, his hands squeezed my hips. I tugged on his hair that my fingers were tangled in. He pulled away and started to kiss down my neck, he traveled down my chest, he was about to take off my bra, but I stopped him.

" Eddie, we can't have sex on the edge of the lake. I-" he shushed me, " Yes we can, people do it all the time, it's fine. No one can see you even if they were here, it's too dark." He told me.

" Sorry, I just don't want to do it here." he lifted one of his hands from my waist, " We can fuck in the van, but we already did." He stated," What's wrong with doing it again?"

" Well, I want it to be special everytime, if it's the same, it could get old." Eddie explained, " Though, I don't think I could ever get tired of you," he whispers to me, moving wet hair from my face.

"Come on now, let's go, I don't think I can wait." He whispered, and he guided me to his van.

" Can't wait, hm?" I teased quietly in his ear, "Don't tease, love. You'll regret it." He pushed me against the seat, one arm on each side of my head to support himself.

I pulled him closer to whisper in his ear," Will I now?" In one swift motion he grabbed my wrists and pinned them against my head, causing my mouth to fall open in surprise.

" You will."
