Dream looked in the mirror. The bright purple hoodie with black basketball shorts, he had to admit, looked pretty cute, even if they were too big. He lifted a hand, the hoods sleeve was to long as well... oh well! He sunk to the floor, his hands no longer able to support his weight at the sink.

"... crud, this is going to be annoying..." he huffed.

"Dear?" Lust asked from outside the door, "are the clothes okay? I know they might be a bit big but that was all that was left, ... other than Inks clothes." Lust added, almost as an afterthought.

"Y-yea! They're fine!" Dream said, reaching up, and opening the door. "Yes a bit big but that's fine!" He waved the sleeved hands at Lust who's face immediately looked at him with an adoring expression. "What?" Dream asked.

"Nothing- you just look absolutely gorgeous in that!" Lust then, like a good friend, hooked his arm under Dreams and helped him stand. He winced at the pain. "Oh! I'm sorry! Do you want to sit back down?" Lust asked with a pained expression.

"N-no... it's fine.." he bit his lip and took a step. Pain rang through him and he whimpered. "F-fine..."

He watched as Lust got a playful smirk, promptly swinging his left arm under Dreams legs and swiftly lifting him, bridle style. Dream yelped at the sudden change of how he stood.

Dream looked up at Lust who's playful smirk, turned into a worried frown. "What?" Dream asked wondering what caused Lust's face to fall.

"Your circlet. It didn't move. Why didn't it move?"

Dream lifted a sleeved had to the little crown on his forehead. He felt the bumps and unsmoothed area around it. He thought back, Ink had superglued it, to his skull. It had stung for days, weeks even, but did Ink give a fuck? No. Ink did not give a fuck about Dream. He hasn't been able to properly shine it since.

"Lust to Dream?" Lust said from above. When Dream blink and looked up, "you okay? You blanked out for a moment there... even your eye lights were out."

"What's the best way to melt superglue?" Dream asked without context. He watched the confusion wash across Lust's face.

"Ummm... vinegar?" Lust said, unsure.

"Okay!" Dream smiled. "To the kitchen!" He announced, and Lust obligingly swished him down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Grab the vinegar!" Dream demanded and Lust grabbed it off the counter, setting Dream in a chair.

Dream motioned do Lust to hand him the vinegar. He opened the bottle, and poured it on his circlet. He immediately heard it hiss and bubble, and Lust jumped back.

"DID YOU SUPERGLUE IT TO YOUR HEAD!!??" Lust yelled out in surprise.

"Nope! Ink did." Dream responded, not giving two fucks about Lust's look of 'of course', feeling the circlet slip forwards and down his face. He caught the crown. "And there! Can I have a paper towel please?" Lust grabbed one and handed it to him. He wiped of the vinegar and melting glue. Dream sighed in relief, "much better. That was becoming unbearable!" Dream though about how kind it had been like this, 2 years? Maybe 3. Time flew past Dream pretty fast as he tended to try to make it through what Ink did.

"How long has that been glued to your head?" Lust asked concerningly.

"I don't know, 2 maybe 3 years?" Dream ripped the clean half of the towel off and drenched it in vinegar. He began wiping the circlet vigorously, wanting to see it shine. He heard Lust walk away, a few wrappers being opened, then the microwave. Dream looked up as Lust then prepared another of whatever he was making.

Dream tried to see what he was doing, forgetting that he couldn't stand. He crumpled to the floor with a yelp.

"Well, that hurt." He scooted back into the wall and leaned on it.

"You okay?" Lust asked and Dream looked up at him. There were fucking s'mores in his hands. He handed one to Dream who hesitantly took it. Lust then sat next to him. Dream watched the melted chocolate melt down the expanded marshmallow. He bit into it, feeling tears rolling down his cheekbones. He dropped his head onto Lust shoulder as the other skeleton held his hand. He gulped down the marshmallow as Lust leaned his head on Dream's

Dream finished his s'more, realizing that he didn't want this moment to end. He didn't move, eventually, falling asleep on Lust.

The next day.

Dream jolted awake, head budding Lust in the process.

"What did you do with Ink!?" Dream asked suddenly anxious.

"Hmmm?... um.... Cellar..." Lust mumbled, half asleep. Dream jumped up, ignoring the pain pulsing through his legs and ran down to Ink.

He opened the cage and unleashed Ink from the wall. He then began trudging the small, light skeleton up to his room.

"What- why are you doing that?" Lust asked.

"I dont want him to know that you know!" Dream said, "please give me a hand!" Dream pleaded, the pain him his legs becoming harder to handle.

Lust immediately grabbed the gods legs and hoisted him up, taking him into Dreams room, and leaving him there.

"Why did you put him back?" Lust asked worriedly. "He's only gonna kill us!"

"No, ink is pretty forgetful, he won't remember you hitting him with the frying pan...."

"If you say so..." Lust said as Dream sank to his knees, sitting on his feet. "Oh geez! Are you okay? Why did you freak out? I could have gotten it done!" Lust protested Dreams weak state.

"Besides, Lust, Ink is the god and guardian of creation and creativity. We are literally unable to leave him locked up, Fate would just pull him out..." Dream shuddered. "Let's leave..." Dream said as Lust picked him up.

"Whatever you say, lovely angel!" Lust proclaimed was he wisked Dream down stairs and into the living room.

"Wha-lovely angel!?" Dream asked confused.

"Well you look like an angel, you talk like an angel, you move like an angel, you forgive like an angel, you have angelic intentions, there for, you are an angel. And all angels are lovely, yes, but you are the most loving skeleton, so lovely angel." Lust sat in the couch, immediately explaining and setting Dream down too.

"Lovely angel..." Dream blushed, unknowingly.
