Chapter 7

The same night, Hermione had invited me to go to Headless Nick's death party to celebrate his 100th birthday, but I politely refused to go because I had promised Oliver B that I will sit with him at the Hufflepuff table for the feast. The other students were giving us weird looks, but I completely ignored them and focused on having fun because it was Halloween after all. We had a wonderful time together, and then we decided to do a small walk alone before we go to our dorms. We were walking together in awkward silence for the past five minutes around the castle until he decided to break it

Oliver: Well I was wondering next weekend we will go to Hogsmeade if you want to spend some time together? Like, go to three broomsticks for a butterbeer?

He asked with a smile on his face and I nodded, returning the smile 

Y/n: Yeah, it would be my pleasure 

I said with a smile on my face, and then he suddenly stopped before he looked at me 

Oliver: I am sure that you get this compliment a lot, but you are really beautiful Y/n

He said, and I felt my cheeks burn from embarrassment, looked at the floor smiling to myself

Oliver: Like really beautiful!

He said, putting his finger on my chin, making me look at him, and then he smiled at me. He came closer to me, and we were like a few inches away from each other. That was it! My first kiss! I thought. But before it could actually happen, I heard footsteps coming our way and someone bumped into us, making us move away from each other. Come on, I was this close to having my first kiss with a guy I really liked. I saw Hermione and Ron chasing Harry, and I just knew they were up to not good. So Oliver and I followed them until they suddenly stopped. The next thing I saw made me put my hand on my mouth. Flinch's cat was petrified and there was a message written all over the wall in red paint which looked like blood. The message said:

"The chamber of secrets has been opened, enemies of the heir...beware"

The chamber of secrets? I have definitely read about it before. But the question is where exactly? I could hear students coming our way, which meant that the feast was over, and I saw the Ginger boy standing next to me looking at the whole scene with a confused look. I could feel someone taking my hand and went I looked up I saw Oliver B looking down at me with a protective look. I saw Colin trying to take a picture and I put down the camera quickly when I saw Flinch coming our way through the students

Draco: Enemies of the heir beware. You will be next Mudbloods

My brother said, and I gave him a death stare to make him shut it. It was not time to make stupid remarks

Filch: What is going on here? Go on my way, my way

Filch said coming our way and then stopped looking at Harry 

Filch: Potter, what are you-

He said, and that was the moment that he noticed something behind him. His eyes widened in horror

Filch: Miss Norris? You have murdered my cat 

He said angrily and Harry looked at him terrified

Harry: No 

He said scarily and Filch looked ready to murder him before I stepped in 

Y/n: He didn't do it, Mr. Filch 

I said, letting go of Oliver's hand and going next to Harry 

Y/n: He was with me. All three of them were with me

I said putting Harry behind me, and he hid with no hesitation of how scared he was 

Oliver: And me
