Chapter 14

*PERCY'S POV*

I entered the common room with a smile on my face to find my brother Ron already waiting for me with his arms crossed. The common room was empty, which meant we were the only ones in the room

Ron: Dating a Malfoy, are you crazy? Dad is not going to be happy about it! I know that she is Y/n, but she still remains a Malfoy, Perce 

He said, and I removed my glasses and put them in my robe, annoyed. I know that Y/n and I were nothing, but he still shouldn't be talking like that about her 

Percy: We are not dating Ron we were just doing our job and like she told you guys we saw the monster that is why we were standing like that. And I thought you liked Y/n?

I said, turning to look at him after removing my robe and putting it on the sofa, and he nodded

Ron: Yeah, she is indeed an amazing person, and I am just afraid you are going to ruin her with your coldness because that is what you always do.

He said, and my eyes widened. I don't do that! I am not a cold person 

Percy: I am not going to do that

I said and he scoffed 

Ron: Yeah! Did you know how much you hurt Mom after being in your room all summer, not talking to a single one of us? Seriously Perce we only saw you at breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner? Do you think that Y/n would want someone like that in her life?

He said, and I looked on the floor, not saying a word. I didn't know that my actions had such a huge impact on my family. If I knew any longer then I would have changed them

Ron: Change of subject. I love and adore Y/n but do you think Dad will be pleased if he finds out that you are messing around with the daughter of his worst enemy? Come on Perce, you are going to meet another hundred girls in your life, but family is the thing that actually matters

He said, and I looked at him. Yeah, I was truly going to meet, more than a hundred girls, but still not her. No one could ever take the place she had in my heart. Penelope never did, and that meant that no other girl would

Percy: But none of them would be Y/n

I said, taking my robe from the sofa, but I stopped when I saw something on the table. There were a hundred pictures that Colin took, and in the middle, there was one with me and Y/n sitting next to each other during the duelling club. I immediately took it without Ron seeing it and then ran to my dorm with no other word

*END OF PERCY'S POV*

I walked into my common room still in shock of the whole situation. It wasn't full! There were just some groups here and there, but not many. I heard my name being called by a familiar annoying voice and when I turned I saw Flint

Marcus: Y/n long time didn't see. Let me guess, you were hanging around with your little mudblood friends

He said, and my eyes filled with anger. How dare he talk about my friends like that in front of me?

Y/n: Get out of my way Flint before I knock your lights out 

I said furious, and he pretended to be hurt, putting his hand on the place where the heart was before he smirked at me

Marcus: Not a really friendly way to talk to your future husband 

He said and I scoffed with a laugh 

Y/n: Didn't you hear the new that I already declined the offer? If you want to know the truth, I would rather die than be married to an asshole like you 

I said, and he pulled out his wand, pushed me against the wall and I heard gasps around the room while he had his wand against my throat

Marcus: Say one more word, and you will be on your way to see Madam Pomfrey 

He said with anger in his eyes, but he didn't know that I was crazier 

Y/n: Try to hurt me and I promise you that by the morning you will be on your way back to your little home 

I said angrily, but before he was able to do anything, my brother came towards us while Crabbe and Goyle pulled him away from me.

Draco: Don't you dare come near my sister again Flint 

He said, and Flint pulled away from them before he walked to his dorm. Draco came and hugged me tight

Draco: What was he talking about? You know the husband and stuff

He asked looking at me confused and I smiled 

Y/n: You don't need to worry about it! See you tomorrow 

I said with a smile while messing his hair before I walked to my room to find Ruby sitting on her bed. The other two girls were still in the common room, she looked at me with a smile which fainted when she saw the tears in my eyes. I fell to the ground putting my hand on my mouth, and she came kneeling next to me

Y/n: Penelope Clearwater cheated on Percy with Oliver Brown, and I feel so damn stupid for even thinking that he could have liked me when the only thing that he did was used me to spend his time. Am I that hard to love? I mean, even Marcus Flint sees me as some property that my father is going to give him to marry after Hogwarts, and I am just so tired of feeling like I am not enough.

I said with tears running down my cheeks, and she looked at me with a comforting smile 

Ruby: Then both Oliver and Flint are stupid for not recognizing the amazing person that you actually are. But believe me when I say that one day there is going to be one who is going to see right through you and love you for you. I also know that this person exists right now and the only thing you need to do is to open your eyes some more 

She said with a smile and I wiped my tears 

Ruby: And never say again that you are not enough because these boys there are just not good enough for you. You are literally Y/n Malfoy! The hottest girl in the whole school that every guy crushes on, and every girl just wants to be you. So please don't say stupid things like that

She said, hugging me tight, and I nodded before looking at the floor

Ruby: I should be mad at you for not telling me about Flint sooner. I heard some yelling in there, did he try to hurt you?

She asked with a serious look and I nodded 

Ruby: I am going to beat his ass

She said standing up and I pulled her down again

Y/n: No, it's okay! I will take care of it tomorrow 

I said with a low voice and she nodded. I was gonna owl my mom first thing in the morning and tell her everything that happened. The reason she wasn't answering my previous letter is that she was sick in bed as result of my father to be receiving them

Y/n: I almost kiss Percy Weasley 

I said out of the blue to break the silence while also wiping my tears, and then her face turned from a serious one to a shocked one in a matter of seconds. She put her hand on her mouth and then started jumping up and down in excitement

Y/n: Didn't you hear the ALMOST?

I said, giving emphasis to my last word, and she nodded before she sat next to me again 

Ruby: Sorry, I got excited. Tell me everything! But first, do you like him?

She said and I looked at my feet confused. This is the first time in my life that I found a question so hard to answer! It feels like a test that I wasn't prepared for and have no idea what the right answer will be. Did I like him? Did I like Percy Weasley?
