Chapter 67

I was sitting on the sofa of the new house, reading a book and waiting for Percy to come back from his parents' house. I decided to not go with him and let him announce the news to his family on his own because I knew what their reactions would be like and didn't want to get in the middle of an argument that would definetely happen. I looked at the table in front of me, where I had left the letter that Dumbledore had sent me asking me to join the order because my service would be a huge help to them. I knew that Percy wouldn't like the idea of it, so I decided to talk with him first and then make my decision. But I really wanted to help Voldemort's defeat in any way possible, and the information I had will definitely be really helpful

I heard the door being unlocked and watched Percy enter the room with a face that showed that something was wrong. I watched him close the door behind him before I closed my book and placed it next to me 

Y/n: Let me guess! They didn't get it well?

I asked, but I already knew the answer to my question, and his face had proven that I was right. He nodded negatively before I sighed and opened my arms, gesturing for him to come. He removed his jacket and threw it on the chair next to the sofa before he came and made himself comfortable on my chest 

Percy: I said some awful things, Ottie

He said, and I kissed his head comfortingly before I let him wrap his arms around my torso and hide his face in my hair

Y/n: I know they may be mad now, but they remain your family which means that just because you said two bad words, that doesn't change the fact that they love and care about you 

I said, and he nodded before he looked at me with a face that showed his regret

Percy: I know but still my words were hurtful

He said standing up, and I took his hand before he walked away 

Y/n: Wanna talk about it more now or when you are ready?

I asked, looking at him with a comforting look while rubbing circles in his palm, and he nodded negatively

Percy: Maybe later, I am going to take a shower

He said, and I nodded before I started reading my book again. I watched Percy come to a stop when he noticed the letter on the table, and he took it in his hands before he turned to me 

Percy: What is that?

He asked, showing me the letter, and I sighed before standing up

Y/n: Dumbledore wants me to join the order 

I said with a faint smile on my face, and his eyes widened before he handed me back the letter

Percy: Well, say you are not interested

He said before he started removing his tie and when he realised that I didn't agree with him or even answer him, he looked at me with a surprised look 

Percy: Are you joining the order?

He asked looking at me confused, and I looked at the floor, not knowing what to tell him 

Y/n: I don't know, I thought that the information that I have may be a good help to defeat Voldemort 

I said, and his eyes widened at the sound of Dark Lord's name before he completely removed his tie still looking at me with a surprised face 

Percy: Firstly don't say that name and secondly he is not back

He said walking away before he entered our bedroom, and I followed him, looking surprised from his words look
