Winter break was in almost two weeks, but I was going to stay with my brother at Hogwarts because my parents had some kind of business, and they are not going to be at home during the holidays. So my brother and I decided it will be better for us to stay in the school! I didn't mind it because I saw it as plenty of free time to just sit in my bed with a cup of tea and read books for the whole day. But because it was also my brother, and I's first Christmas away from home, I was going to spend almost every single day with him. Ruby has also informed me that the whole Weasley family was going to stay here, and Hermione told me that she will do the same. So as long as Hermione was here, I have already found my reading buddy, and we were going to read together every single day!

The whole castle had become white from the snow, and everything around me smelled and looked like Christmas. The whole castle had been decorated with trees and small stars flying around the corridors, but also mistletoes appeared in places you will never expect. Everything looked magical

The sad news about it was that we had another attack, and this time was a Hufflepuff boy and a nearly headless Nick. So this is why Dumbledore decided all classes will be escorted from classroom to classroom with a professor by their side 24/7

I was walking with Ruby to the first class of my day, which was DADA with Lockhart. Because it was the first lesson of the day, there was no teacher to escort us, and we had to walk at least in pairs. Today we were going to talk about Vampires, and I was too tired to hear him talk about his adventure in Egypt. Thank god I would have Ruby to keep me company, or that is what I thought! When I entered the classroom, I was surprised to see that Ruby didn't sit with me, but instead went and sat next to Wood at the desk behind me.

Y/n: What are you doing?

I asked confused and she smirked at me. I knew that smirk! That was the I-am-planning-something-you-won't-like smirk, and I got scared. Then I saw ginger entering the classroom, and he had the exact same confused face as me when he saw Ruby and Wood sitting together.

Percy: Why did we change seats?

He asked confused and then Oliver smiled at him

Oliver: Because I want to sit with Ruby for the next of the year, so you two are going to find a way to face each other for two hours every Tuesday and Friday, or you can go sit next to Flint. Your choice!

He said, and I looked at Flint in disgust who was sitting at the last desk all alone, and then sighed before sitting at my desk and Weasley did the same. After a couple of minutes, I heard the door burst open, and I was surprised to see that in the classroom instead of Lockhart, Snape was the one who entered with an unpleasant look on his face.

Snape: Professor Lockhart is incapable of teaching right now because he had a small incident while walking the chairs, so I will be teaching you for the whole week. Now turn to page 245 and if I hear a single sound you will regret it

He said, and I sighed in disbelief before I looked for that page. Oh, come on, I had to face Snape for four hours every week in potions, did they have to be eight? This is a nightmare! Then he started walking around the classroom talking about the vampires while I was writing notes in my notebook right next to my book. Yeah, that was going to be fun! Percy: Freckles! You have freckles
