Forbidden love|| Percy Weasley

Chapter 74

Ruby was standing outside the hospital room with crossed arms while looking at Y/n's body that was lying on the bed and Percy who was sitting next to it asleep on a chair while holding her hand. It had been a week since what happened. Since Y/n woke her up in the middle of the night to tell her that the order needed them, since the day that her Bellatrix almost killed her because of the hate she had for her niece, and since the day that Sirius had died. 

Everyone deals with griefing differently some people cry, some people feel depressed, and some others don't want to accept it. But Ruby didn't do any of it. She couldn't cry, she couldn't even shed a tear. Because she had been through too much over the years, and she had lost many tears from crying for her parents that there wasn't any left. She had learned that crying doesn't change reality or what happens in the future, so she had made a promise to herself that no matter what she wouldn't cry. Not being she wasn't hurt, but because she wanted to show to others that she wasn't weak. Y/n, Oliver, and Percy were the only family she had left and for them, she would because they were worth her tears

She felt a gentle hand on her shoulder and she turned around to face Mr and Mrs Weasley looking at her with gentle smiles because they knew the hurt that she has been through and felt pity for her. But Ruby didn't want pity, she hated it. She didn't want people to feel sorry for her, she just wanted her best friend to be okay, nothing else. She was also mad. Mad at Y/n's parents. Because even though they knew that their daughter was lying in a hospital bed and hadn't woken up for a week now, they didn't even dare to show up not even send a" Get well soon" card.  

Molly: How is Y/n doing?

She asked looking at Ruby who just looked back at the couple still sleeping in their places because having each other present was always enough for them

Ruby: They have no idea when she will wake up, but I hope soon because Percy will lose his mind in there

She said, holding back her own tears, and Mrs Weasley entered the room with no other word. The sound of the door opening made Percy wake up, and his eyes immediately fell on his mother who had just entered

Arthur: Y/n will manage, she is strong

He said with a smile before entering the room too, ready to join his wife who was hugging her son while he cried on her shoulder. Ruby immediately wiped a tear that rolled down her cheek and turned around at the sound of familiar steps walking up to her. She saw Oliver walking up to her with a bouquet, and Ruby went to him without a second thought. She fell to his arms like a small child who had seen an awful nightmare and needed to be comforted. The moment that Oliver hugged her, she started crying after months of not doing so because for her only family left, her tears were worth it

Back in Hogwarts, Hermione was sitting with her two best friends in the Great Hall during study time.  Harry hadn't said a word the entire week, and it was like he didn't exist anymore. Travelling in his own thoughts and being in his own world at times like that gave him comfort. Everyone was talking about what happened in the ministry. They were talking about the fact that the five of them went there and faced a bunch of deatheaters. How the order showed up and how Sirius Black was announced dead. Some also were talking about Y/n Malfoy, who suffered the Crucio curse and was now lying in a hospital bed while in a coma. But her brother Draco didn't seem to worry about it. Hermione was watching him with Ginny while he was laughing with his friends at the Slytherin table like nothing had happened to his sister. Ginny hit her book on the table, having enough of it, and stood up. Everyone's eyes fell on her while she was walking towards the Slytherin table and when Hermione realised what she was about to do, she stood up and followed the younger girl who looked pretty mad. Ginny pulled out her wand just as Draco was standing up, and he didn't notice her walking up to him. Ginny pushed him angrily against the wall and pointed her wand against his throat. Draco looked terrified at the young girl but didn't react because he knew the reason she did it and deep down he knew he deserved it 

Ginny: You ungrateful spoiled dickhead! Your sister is lying on a hospital bed after your aunt almost killed her, and you are sitting here laughing like nothing has happened. How can you possibly laugh when you know she may not make it alive out of there?

She said with tears in her own eyes, and the entire hall had fallen quiet. No one was talking, they were all looking at them. Hermione was standing a few meters away from them before she finally walked up to them. Draco was now looking at the floor, hiding his own tears because something no one knew was how hurt he was after he found out about his sister. But he couldn't show to the others that he cared for her because that was his father's orders, and he didn't want to disobey him just because he was afraid of the consequences he will face. He was always telling himself that there were only two years left until he graduated from Hogwarts. Then he will leave his family and reunite with the only family that cared for him. His older sister

Hermione: Ginny please let's go. He is not worth it right now!

She said and surprisingly Ginny listened to her and lowered her wand. But before she walked away, she took a glass of water from her table and poured it on Draco's head. He didn't react and just looked at the floor while she did it

Ginny: I hope you and your family burn in hell

She said for only him to here and then walked out of the hall with Hermione and the other two boys who joined them as they were walking outside

*TWO WEEKS LATER*

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was a light that came right into my eyes and I covered it with my free hand because the other one was busy holding another one. I looked towards my other hand to find it holding Percy's one. He was sleeping while sitting on a chair but his head lying on my bed. He was snoring quietly, and I smiled before I looked around to realise that I was in the hospital. But what time was it, what day, and for how long have I been here?

Y/n: Ginger, wake up 

I said, shaking his head gently, and he slowly opened his eyes before he looked around to find the reason he woke until his eyes fell on me. I smiled while watching his eyes wide when he realised that I was awake, but before I was able to say anything else, he hugged me tighter than he has ever done before which made me unable to breath.

Percy: Don't you dare scare me like that ever again 

He said, and I smiled before leaving a kiss on his forehead. I was rubbing his back slowly, letting him know that I was here, okay and alive. That he didn't need to worry anymore and that everything will be fine

Y/n: No promises when you have an entire family that wants you dead 

I said with a small laugh leaving my mouth, and he gave me a deathstare before I smiled jokingly at him

Y/n: Bad joke

I said before finally pulling him in for a long passionate kiss after Merlin knows how long

Y/n: I will never leave you ginger, no one will ever take us apart, I promise
