The same night, I had to meet up with Percy at the entrance of the Great Hall to do our normal job. But to my surprise, when I arrived, I saw Professor McGonagall was already waiting for us in front of the huge doors. I saw Percy coming from the other corridor and I gave him a small smile before we walked to the professor

Percy: Good evening, professor! Is anything wrong?

He asked curiously and I went next to him. Professor McGonagall looked very upset which made me confused while she was also trying to find the words to tell us what is going on!

McGonagall: I am afraid that something is truly wrong, Mr Weasley. Tomorrow all the students must return to their homes because the end of Hogwarts has come

She said, and our eyes widened in horror. The end of Hogwarts? What did she mean by the end of Hogwarts? This school is my second home for the past six years, it won't be easy to leave it like that. But I knew that something horrible happened, so I sighed before I found the courage to ask the professor what happened, but I was also scared about what the answer was going to be. I didn't know if it was good or bad, but if we are talking about the end of Hogwarts then it is definitely bad and that was what scared me

Y/n: What happened?

I asked, confused and worried at the same time. The professor looked at the floor and then sighed

McGonagall: A student has been taken into the Chamber, but Professor Lockhart will do everything he can to save her! I hope so, at least

She said really upset while trying to hold her own tears from leaving her eyes. I looked at the floor, still trying to process everything that happened in the last few months. I mean, everything happened just so fast that I didn't even realize it and unfortunately, the events weren't pleasant

Y/n: Can you tell us who the student is?

I asked, and she looked at me before she looked at Percy. She hesitated for a moment before she sighed to herself

McGonagall: It is Ginny Weasley

She said, and I put my hand on my mouth, shocked. I looked at Percy next to me who blinked twice trying to understand if he heard correctly

Percy: Is this true?

He asked, looking scared of what the answer will be, and then McGonagall nodded. I put my hand on his shoulder comfortingly, and he continued looking at the floor in pure shock

Y/n: Perce-

I said, but he immediately walked away before I was even able to say another word

McGonagall: Miss Malfoy could you please go with him, he truly needs a friend right now, and I am afraid that there are more than a hundred letters that need to be sent before the sun rises.

She said, walking away, and I nodded. Then she stopped and looked at me one more time

McGonagall: The Gryffindor common room password is "Caput Draconis" but I suppose you already know it

She said with a comforting smile, and I nodded before I ran after him. The truth is I didn't know that this was the password because it literally changes all the time, but good to know. I walked towards the end of the corridor he went to, but he was already gone. I looked around calling his name with no luck and I went to give up until I heard a sob in the yard. I walked towards the big tree that was in the middle of it. I walked to the other side of it to find Percy sitting there with tears in his eyes. I went and sat next to him with an apologetic look on my face and when he saw me I opened my arms for him to cry into. He gladly accepted with no hesitation. He wrapped his arms around my belly and cried in my chest, while I wrapped mine protectively around him.
