Chapter 73

*TIME JUMP*

I woke up at the sound of something banging on the window and my eyes wide open at the sound. I looked up slowly, opening my eyes to see a white light outside of it, and it took me a minute to realize that it was a patronus. I stood up as fast as I could, being careful to not wake up Percy, and I walked slowly towards the window. I opened it for the patronus to enter the house, and the small wolf flew around me before it came to a stop right in front of me.

Remus: Y/n take Ruby and meet us in the ministry right now

Remus's voice was heard, and my face turned into a confused one as the animal disappeared from in front of me, but I didn't have time to question it and got dressed as fast as I could. I walked into the living room while putting my wand in my pocket, where an exhausted Ruby was sleeping on the couch. A few months ago she was able to run away from her home and Percy and I found her outside our flat after dinner at the Black House on Christmas Eve. Words can't explain the happiness I felt when I saw her and a huge weight of anxiety left me now that I knew that she was safe like I was away from our horrible families

Y/n: Wake up Ruby, wake up 

I said, shaking her and she scoffed annoyingly before she covered herself with the blanket like a five-year-old 

Ruby: Five more minutes, mom 

She said, and I took her blanker from her angrily because the order needed us, and we were freaking late. When the cold air hit her face, her eyes immediately opened, and she looked at me with an angry look, but I didn't have time to argue for waking her up in the middle of the night by taking her blanket, so I just handed her, her wand before she was able to say another world

Y/n: Come on, we need to go, the order needs us! I will explain on the way

I said wearing my jacket, and she yawned before she stood up from the couch looking around for her jacket

Ruby: Sometimes I wonder why am I still best friends with you when you wake me up like that.

We had just landed outside the public toilets that the employees use to enter the ministry when I felt a hand covering my mouth and two hands grabbing me inside. When I entered the bathroom, I came across the entire order in front of me telling me and Ruby to be quiet

Moody: This place is filled with Deatheaters, so we need to work strategically to save those idiotic kids 

He said, and I exchange with Ruby a confused look before Moody started to explain to us what had happened and what we needed to do. I was holding my wand in my hand waiting for a sign for us to apparate inside and when Moody did it, we all landed inside a strange room that I hadn't seen before and into a huge rock. As I looked around, I realised that the place was filled with deatheaters who were keeping hostage very familiar faces to me. I pointed my wand at the first death eater I saw, and it was my aunt. I sent her a spell that threw her away from Neville and hit the opposite wall. She fell to the ground and when she saw me a smirk appeared on her face while she was standing up 

Bellatrix: You disgusting blood-traitor

She screamed hysterically before she flew my way, and before I was able to react, she grabbed my neck and threw me against the wall, which made me hit my head. I fell to the ground while I felt something warm run down my face, but I didn't have time to worry about that. I heard my name being called by a familiar voice which I wasn't able to recognise in all the yelling and the sound of the spells, but before I was able to even stand up, I felt some invisible hands pick me up and throw me again in the middle of the main area of the fight that was happening on the top of the huge rock. I picked up my wand, sending my aunt another spell that hit her on the stomach making her to lose her balance for a couple of seconds which gave me enough time to stand up and to realise what exactly was happening around me
