The message that the war was happening at Hogwarts arrived on May 1st while we were having dinner, and everything happened so fast. Before I realised what was happening, we stood in the great hall while Professor McGonagall was dividing all the adults into places they should guard and telling the younger ones what they should do to get out of there. I was kind of pissed when she ordered Flinch to guide the Slytherin house to the dungeon, but deep down I knew she was kind of right. Because half the students of the house aren't even on our side, and will definitely go to Voldemort's side when his army arrives here. Professor McGonagall looked towards Ruby and me who were standing behind the others before she walked up to us

McGonagall: Miss Malfoy, I believe that your Quidditch captain skills will be needed

She said, and I smiled while she handed me a broomstick. Thousands of memories filled my mind because I was again able to do something I loved

Y/n: It feels so good to be back, Professor

I admitted before looking at Ruby who was holding her broom and nodded agreeing at my words. Quidditch wasn't just a sport. It was a safe place to clear your mind but also have fun when a mess was happening inside your head. Professor McGonagall walked away to tell everyone else what they had to do before Percy walked up to me and pulled me aside from everyone else. I saw his face getting serious, and I knew exactly what he wanted to talk to me about

Percy: I know you are tired of hearing me say this all the time, but please don't get yourself killed

He said with a serious look on his face, but before I was able to say anything he continued

Percy: Because when all of this is over, I want you to marry me, I want to have a life with you, a family

He said looking at my eyes and trying to read my surprised reaction because that was the last thing I was expecting to hear from him today. But I was also surprised that he didn't already know my answer

Percy: If you want, of course-

But before he was able to continue, I pulled him towards me and crashed his lips against mine into a loving kiss. I pulled away, our faces being inches away from each other before I saw a smile appear on his face. I waited so long to hear this specific question, I have dreamed so many times of him asking me to marry him, even when we were still in school. I may not be sure about many things in my life, but what I was sure about was that I wanted to spend it with Percy by my side

Y/n: I am surprised that you don't already know my answer ginger, of course, I will marry you

I said with a smile, before he kissed me again, more passionately than before. We said our hard goodbyes once more before Ruby and I flew to the sky with a bunch of other students, waiting for the deatheaters to come. I scanned the ground with my eyes, looking everywhere for Percy, but he was nowhere to be found. The thought that he was with the twins kind of made me feel better, but this bad feeling couldn't leave my mind

Ruby: Do you think we have a chance to win this?

She asked, looking at me with a confused look, before I turned to look at her

Y/n: Everything is possible in this world, you just need to have a little faith

I said, turning my eyes back to the deatheaters who were standing on the mountain in front of Hogwarts waiting for us to surrender, but there was no way we were going to give them Harry like that. If they wanted Harry, they had to get past me and everyone else first. What did they expect? To just hand him to them like he was nothing. I noticed someone waving at me from a window and when I saw that it was Tonks, I flew toward her
