CHAPTER 2: Novel
It's been a week since the day when Diana tried to kill me. Well, the school gave me a two week vacation because of what happened. And as for Diana, she was expelled from St. Peter University.
Inako din ng school ang kasalanan para hindi naman ng sisi mapunta sa teacher namin. Dapat kasi hindi nakapasok ang matalim na bagay na 'yon sa school premises. It's one of the rules not to bring any sharp materials that can hurt somebody.
Also, my isa pa 'kong issue.
When mama said that kuya Marcel was gone, I though he was dead. But I was wrong, mama cleared that kuya Marcel isn't dead, he's just missing. The twin of kuya Marcel, kuya Marshal, volunteered to lead the police in finding kuya Marcel. Ang hinala ni papa, kuya Marcel was abducted by one of his enemy in business society.
Iyon kasi ang dahilan kung bakit ako muntikang mamatay. It turns out that Diana's father instructed her to purposely kill me. Heh, pathetic!
So excuse lang ni Diana 'yung inggit niya sa'kin? Hay, ewan!
And about naman sa dalawang frogs, Althea and Gina, hindi sila expelled, suspended lang. Nagreklamo pa nga si mama kung bakit hindi sila expelled. Iyon pala nagmakaawa 'yung parents nung dalawa 'wag lang ma-expell and anak nila.
So lucky for them to have that kind of parents. Gagawin ang lahat para lang magkaroon ng maayos na pag-aaral ang anak nila.
Kasalukyan akong nasa kuwarto ko, reading some of the books that Cindy sent to me. These past few days, Cindy keeps on sending a lot of books with her message. Ang sabi niya, basahin ko daw lahat 'yun para hindi ako mabored dito sa bahay.
"Ma'am Arianna?" Tumayo ako sa kama ko para tingnan kung ano nanaman ang pinadala dito ni Cindy. Yeah, alam ko na agad na may pinadala nanaman si Cindy na kung ano-ano.
I opened the door and saw yaya Midel carrying a box. Ibinigay niya sa akin ang box at nagpaalam na.
Isinarado ko na ang pinto at saka umupo sa kama. Kinuha kong 'yung note na nakalagay sa box. It says....
'Hello! This is me again, Ari! This box contains chocolates and a novel. Sure na sure na sure akong magugustuhan mo 'tong novel na 'to! Alam kong nahihirapan kang makatulog dahil sa nightmares mo.. so sana makatulong 'yung mga books na pinapadala ko sa'yo.
You're sweet beshy, Cindy!'
A smile formed in my lips. She really knows me. I'm thankful to god for giving me a friend like Cindy. She's so sweet, so kind, so crazy.. and so clingy, so madaldal, so OA and so.. basta, 'yon na 'yon.
About the nightmares that she's talking about.. it's my past with my biological mother. Every night, it was difficult for me to sleep, lalo na sa tuwing naaalala ko ang pananakit na ginawa niya sa akin noong paslit pa lamang ako. But mama Kristina said that she was already imprisoned. Kinasuhan nila ito ng child abuse nung malaman nila ang pananakit nito sa akin. And 'yun din 'yung time na mama and papa decide to adopt me. Wala na akong balita sa kaniya simula nung ampunin nila ako.
How did they know that I was being abused? Well, it's because of the twin.
Naglalaro ako non sa kalye nang mapadpad doon sila kuya Marcel at Marshall. Hinahabol sila ng mga asong gala kaya tinulungan ko sila. That's how we became friends.. and then nakilala ko din 'yung parents nila which is si mama and papa.
Nakita nila ang mga pasa sa katawan ko pero 'diko sinabi kung saan ko iyon nakuha. But then, one day, nasaktuhan nila na sinasaktan ako ng biological mother ko. And that's the time na magdecide silang kasuhan siya at ampunin ako.
